I take pride in Classical Arabic due to its powerful and rich meanings. I am aware that Arabic dialects are a mixture of local dialects and foreign languages. Based on my interactions with Americans who want to learn Arabic, I have found that they are divided into two categories. One category wants to learn Arabic to understand Islam and the Quran, and they must learn Classical Arabic (Fusha). The other category wants to learn Arabic for their work in a specific Arab country, and they should learn the dialect of that country. As an Arab, you know well that if you speak in Classical Arabic, you might not understand the local street language or dialect of the country and interact with people effectively.
