Many horrific things can be said about Kim, but it’s his sister that really creeps me out. She seems like someone who would come up with the most painful ways to torture you without blinking an eye.
If Kim were to pass on any time soon, then the DPRK would be forced to change their constitution to allow her to ascend to the Leadership role. At the moment, they have no-one else deemed suitable for the position. If Kim were able to father a son beforehand, she would still be required to take up the role on a sort of "Regency" basis, until the son is old enough to take it himself. All of that is pretty scary

They only thought they were pretty. One off those bags can buy like 5 families their own houses in NK no problem and here she walks around with it under her arm. No wonder they don’t want the NK people to know what it is and what it costs.

Being a 'show city' it does serve to distracting Western visitors and media from the tragedy which is unfolding in the country. Rule of the thumb: If a country carries "Democratic" in the same, to show off how democratic it is, it certainly isn't democratic at all. No real democracy ever had to emphasize being democratic through its name.
