What makes trophy hunting good? (Your emotions mean absolutely nothing) Trophy hunting is good because the hunters pay incredible amounts to hunt just 1 of these ‘exotic’ animals and the money that they spend goes into the caring of these animals in the form of protected nature reserves through educated modern world population control management. Not every animal can be shot in the parks every year, only the animals which are proliferating in numbers due to the protection and care they are receiving by being within the parks fences. Example: A park might have 10,000 lions as there quoted cared for species, however after X years they now have 12,000 lions because due to the protection in the park the lions have had no threats and the best food supplies, however because there are 2000 more lions in the park other animals are dropping in population like Zebras and in order to save the animals 2000 lions need to be culled, instead of a “farmer” going out and just shooting the animals with no profits beside meat & fur both which are frowned upon, they offer the animal to a hunter for thousands of $ which is used to protect and care for the animals. If every animal is wiped out in the parks then they can never maintain the cycle and it’s all about maintaining the cycle for 1 simple fact alone. Trophy hunters are the biggest independent wildlife conservationists out there, $35,000USD to hunt an Elephant which in the private national park is NOT endangered or low in stock otherwise they simply wouldn’t allow them to be hunted this year or until their numbers re-populate. If it was not for these hunters paying incredible sums to hunt 1 animal alone then there would be no protection for the animals from anything at all and in the world we have created it’s a sad reality that in order to insure the continuation of certain animals on this world they need to be behind fences… If you allow yourself to control your emotions on the subject it might all start to come clear that these Trophy Hunters are more real in their conservation that any sign holding, banner waving animal freedom fighting keyboard warrior online, these hunters are actually doing spending thousands towards it and they can't even say anything about it because 99% of people just demonize them so bad they want to run in a cave and hide, without them and their contributions certain species would be extinct by now. When did you last dedicate $100,000 each year or two in order to help protected and conserve endangered species? The parks need money and nobody but the hunters are prepared to pay what is needed, you wouldn't pay $35,000 to photograph and elephant/lion.
exactly.... thats why we bealive in life after death... After this life everything will be accounted for .. And everybody will get a justice. Here the human does wrong thing ... And he says he has done justice.....
This is no different than hunting deer. Regulated hunting raises conservation revenue that keeps wild land like this wild. If the land owner can't make money selling the right to hunt on his property then the land would be turned into agriculture or urbanized and all of the animals on it would die instead of just the select few. And bear in mind that there are only a certain number of tags sold each year, so the animals aren't in danger of extinction.
Agree with you, but this is not hunting. The guide is bringing him the lion and the other animals almost on a platter. It's butchery. Real hunting takes time, devotion and skills.
@@LaurentCardinal so does this, on a guided african hunt you still have to walk 5+ miles in dense, unforgiving bush in oppressive heat or (shockingly) also cold. That is unless your a liberal and you believe in killing your baby. Liberals call it abortion. It is my humble opinion that the gentleman with the rifle should be subjected to the "Nososa Xul". For the un-initiated the "Nososa Xul" is a medieval torture device where a pointed bamboo spike is firmly planted upon the ground & the person concerned is made to sit on the spike, so that the spike enters the rectum of the concerned person. The more the concerned person struggles, the deeper the spike penetrates the rectum.
Just type nososa xul in Wiki & you'll get nothing, cause its not in wiki. If u want to know more, come to India, & i don't mean the touristy places. Come to Mayang the land of magic, where they still practice witch-craft today. Come to the remote north-eastern region where you'll learn a lot about the Ahoms & their legacy. By the way nososa xul was a technique developed by the ancient Ahom tribes to interrogate spies & enemies of their kingdom.
Was this lion a rogue that was killing people or chronically taking cattle? It isnt mentioned...with less than half a million left[if that much] I cant imagine why someone would want an obviously healthy male lion as a trophy.I am a big fan of hunting, but this leaves a bittersweet taste,as sad as dropping a bull elephant.OK,take your impala or zebra, but some Africans are becoming increasingly rare.If I shot any lion,it would have to be badly maimed or at the very end of its vitality.I watched a male lion who was aged-he could only eat what he could steal,or carrion. His tail was rotting off and in the end,he collapsed in the dust and breathed his last. You cant imagine how heartbreaking that looked...that lion,I would surely have shot.I dont need the "glory"of killing a strong animal. If its a trophy mount you want, that poor tired old trooper wouldve done fine. And if not to put meat in the freezer,I aint killing it.Sometimes there are problem animals, but not that often.Hope you safari guys said a prayer for the soul of one of God's finest creations. and by the way,why are there never hyena hunts?plenty of those around!!

i agree what a tame lion and tame hunter, go after it in the wild and you will have a different story - ask me I live in Africa, that lion is no real wild lion
This’s video make me cry on this poor animal 😭😭

@@sambiederman8592 you absolute monster! Why not full body mount it?
What makes trophy hunting good?
(Your emotions mean absolutely nothing)
Trophy hunting is good because the hunters pay incredible amounts to hunt just 1 of these ‘exotic’ animals and the money that they spend goes into the caring of these animals in the form of protected nature reserves through educated modern world population control management.
If it was not for these hunters paying incredible sums to hunt 1 animal alone then there would be no protection for the animals from anything at all and in the world we have created it’s a sad reality that in order to insure the continuation of certain animals on this world they need to be behind fences…
If you allow yourself to control your emotions on the subject it might all start to come clear that these Trophy Hunters are more real in their conservation that any sign holding, banner waving animal freedom fighting keyboard warrior online, these hunters are actually doing spending thousands towards it and they can't even say anything about it because 99% of people just demonize them so bad they want to run in a cave and hide, without them and their contributions certain species would be extinct by now.
When did you last dedicate $100,000 each year or two in order to help protected and conserve endangered species?
The parks need money and nobody but the hunters are prepared to pay what is needed, you wouldn't pay $35,000 to photograph and elephant/lion.
Well said bro
I did not know these cowards were aloud to shoot from the hunting car.

You still have to spot and stalk, you still have to "do your homework" so to speak. Hunting no matter where or what takes effort and hard work (except high fence ranche, they suck)

Its an animal, not a person. Learn the difference.
ravi reddy animals are not people. Their criteria for hunting is to go after the old, young, and infermed. These are the very things in people we try to protect, not kill. That is unless your a liberal and you believe in killing your baby. Liberals call it abortion. Than i would say your worse than an animal, because at least when they kill it is for food, or protecting themselves.
preach it brother.
ravi 🤣🤣🤣🖕
A small pride of 2 male lions, now the other is on his own, much harder to hunt for food, 1 lion on his own. You killed his only friend, very sad to me
YOU KNOW KILLING LIONS WITH EXTINCT THEM THINK TWICE ABOUT KILLING THAT PRETTY ANIMAL
wrong
I bet u have never been to Africa
For all your wussies complaining, the money they spent on this one hunt was basically equivalent to building a whole new village. We’re talking 40,000$ dollars

For Sarel Van Der Merwe, president of the African Lion Working Group and one of the men who knows best lions in the world, hunting should be completely banned in West Africa where populations are already very threatened (less than 2000 lions in the region, many small isolated groups).

Aren’t you smart, love the explanation you copied off Wikipedia
Just type nososa xul in Wiki & you'll get nothing, cause its not in wiki. If u want to know more, come to India, & i don't mean the touristy places. Come to Mayang the land of magic, where they still practice witch-craft today. Come to the remote north-eastern region where you'll learn a lot about the Ahoms & their legacy. By the way nososa xul was a technique developed by the ancient Ahom tribes to interrogate spies & enemies of their kingdom.
It is evil

Would like to hear from professional conservation biologists about the sustainability of killing apex predators Is this a means of controlling their population
in a managed wilderness?.
From what i've heard, in Africa you can get special permission (that include huge fees) from the conservation organizations/government to hunt a certain amount and type of animals.

Im all for hunting. I love it and i appreciate all the animals. But shooting lions for sport or trophy and not utilizing its meat. Or even so its such a majestic animal. I feel bad for taking down these type of animals like cheetahs/giraffes/rhinos/elephants. All of which are not high reproductive animals.
Ali I agree if I were to hunt a lion I would hunt for meat and trophy cause what the point in hunting if you don’t use the meat I hunt deer and I kill them for rack and meat cause they taste good but I don’t understand this don’t hunt if your not gonna use the meat
Well since you know nothing of Africa and the cultures there, the answer is yes they do eat lion meat there! Not everyone on Earth lives according to your standards!
