Gorrilla life... Hey, can you maybe politely ask the zoo if they can build a cover over the new box, so they have more shade, and to make it bigger for all of them to be inside comfortably. It doesn't hurt to give them suggestions, they just might listen to you sometimes. You have thousands of hours of tape with some material the zoo might not see or have missed, so you are another set of eyes that can only benefit our beloved gorrilla friends. 😇

I think Momotaro enjoys the attention he gets from the zookeeper because he does not get affection or attention from Genki unless she is in estrus. Genki's and Kintaro's bellies are so big they cannot see over them when they are sitting. Momotaro's and Gentaro's bellies are not quite as big, but they are getting bigger.
According to his zookeeper, Momotaro is good at being spoiled more than Gentaro now. Gentaro is in puberty and hesitates to interact with his zookeepers. That happens during the adolescence.

This is usually the time when they stop having babies because they can sense the end of their lives are nearing. They dont want to leave their babies with no protection. The fathers wont fill that role. Baby would probably end up dying. Not in the zoo of course, but genki doesnt know shes in a zoo. This is the only world she knows so she wouldnt want to leave her baby. I think she will stop trying to have a baby.
