Dude you slayed it first time on those shoes and board, take it from a 41 year old 80's baby who just jumped on for the first time since the late 90's/early 2000's who needs to get his legs back! lol Love eS' and that they are bringing back our shoes from the past. Just ordered the Koston 197's in the same color I had back in the day, super pumped to get them and happy to see their shoes still perform like they used to! Thanks for the review!
Stoked you are getting back out there! I’m really interested in the 197’s I havn’t had a chance to skate them yet. The Accel’s definitely held up, and I find myself wanting them again.

The Accels look awesome too, a true classic, I’ve never tried them but they look like they hold up really well and people are really happy with the quality/feel. I used to skate Kostons, I know the 197’s are slightly different than the original, minus the air bubble. Hoping they feel the same so I can get my legs back faster and get that confidence back. I’ll have to let you know how it goes! 🤙🏻.
i never could find accel on sales in here, but i always got the etnies kingpin which are almost the same for around 20-25 € so i bought many pairs. you are doing slappies like a pro !
Thanks! Slappies are my favorite. I find them on sale using “Shopify” I just search and sort by “on sale” and almost always can find a discount on what I’m looking for.

It was mostly the nostalgia that got me, it’s a lot of fun looking down and seeing them. The puff hasn’t been an issue, I mostly notice it most around the collar of the shoe.

I ride a motorcycle, snowboard, tried wakeboarding and wake surfing, and longboard of my neighbor )) what about skateboarding? Asking because you are not a teenager for sure )
I am definitely past the teenage years. You absolutely can go ahead and try, especially since you have a background in boardsports. Skateboarding can be fun just rolling around in an empty parking lot! Skateboarding is for everyone just know it can be slow going and slams are going to happen, but more importantly fun is going to happen too!
