Not only that, but with the front mounted mower, you're able to mow over the edges of cliffs, water and other difficult or impossible to reach areas, eliminating hand trimming altogether! Talk about a time saver!
The Ventrac is rated for 30 degrees (with the dual wheel kit) in ANY direction, both up and down a slope and ACROSS it!
In fact, Ventrac is tested on a 35 degree slope to ensure slope safety at the 30 degrees rating!

@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 it shows. I've watched many of your videos through the years so I really already knew how adapt you were with the VENTRAC but it's still impressive to watch a craftsman
Just bought a 4520Z for my farm and so far, I really like it. I like the tough cut better than my rotary mower on my tractor. I can get under limbs and obstacles the large tractor could not as well as the slope advantage not to mention I am not craning my neck all day. I have MANY 30+ degree slopes to mow and it does well on all of them. It does have its limits (I have found them) but those far exceed any other mower's capabilities by a pretty extensive margin. Have you ever used a Steiner? I picked up a 440 used, couldn't afford a new Ventrac! Handled my 30-31 degree slopes very well.
A Steiner is good but remember, the Steiner family sold the company decades ago to build a much better version...the Ventrac

My neighbor's zero turn slipped and went careening down the 35 degree embankment. I cover the rescue in another video. Luckily he had no serious injuries!
