Your 7days videos is how i found you on youtube and got hooked on your videos. Im really hoping you make more videos or even a terrible trio series in 7days now that it is in full release.
I hope you make this a series, I love your commentary in 7 days. Tips: now the new meta is to read all armor books and hoard every other crafting book (except Forge Ahead until level 14) and craft a higher tier Nerd Outfit (quality 6 gives 50% chance for 2 skills per 1 magazine) and just bulk read all of the magazines. The Fun Pimps made a dumb change: with lockpicking skill you were able to gain more Forge Aheads, now they capped this at level 14. It only hurts the casual players, minmaxers/speedrunners like me will just hoard these books and bulk read them progressing much faster. If you're a more experienced player who knows all the trigger points in POIs, you won't need to follow the linear path because the devs want you to suffer. The best build is intellect, but I don't recommend switching your melee weapon early game because pipe batons are terrible. Once you find a higher level stun baton, definitely switch into intellect because the stun baton is supreme to all other melee weapons (bats, sledge hammers, knives). With the stun baton, you can stun and send multiple enemies flying and it keeps them shocked for a long time once you have enough skill points allowing you to quickly escape sketchy situations. Also, if you max out physician the stun baton has a chance to one shot enemies. Plus with the stun batons you can also use robotic turrets which are supreme (and absolutely essential) for clearing tier 4-5-6 infestations. Once you have two robotic turrets with these mods (cripple em, full auto mod, drum magazine, rad remover, and AP Robotic Turret Ammo) you just broke the game because these two turrets will shred absolutely everything. Best mods for the stun baton (weighted head mod, stun repulsor mod, rad remover, ergonomic grip mod). Questing has been heavily nerfed now, rewards are terrible, but it's still essential to complete the first 10 quests for getting the bicycle. Tier 1 quests complete sends you to Trader Jen in the Burnt Forest who can sell you meds (antibiotics, honey, etc), tier 2 complete sends you to Trader Bob in the desert (he sells tools, vehicles), tier 3 complete Trader Hugh in the snow biome he has weapons and ammo, and more weapons and ammo. And finally, tier 4 complete will send you to Trader Joel in the Wasteland who's the armor guy. You don't have to wait for these tiers to be completed, you can visit them sooner if you like. Once you get the bicycle you can go loot cars in the Wasteland for valuable loot like Vehicle Adventures magazines, tools and some other cool stuff. The higher level the biome, the better the loot. Biomes in tier order: Pine Forest, Burnt Forest (half skull), Desert (one skull), Snow Biome (one and a half skulls), Wasteland (2 skulls). Good luck and have fun!
About the cat story, I live in Istanbul and strays are very good at cleaning their coats as long as they're healthy and young, they can also be extremely affectionate towards people for no reason really. Pure white is a rare colour for a stray though so you might be right about it having an owner. Some people let their cats roam free since they can usually take care of themselves and will find home when they want to return, our neighbour's cat is like that as well, she lets him roam and he oftenly comes to my window (attic floor window is on the roof) and stays some nights, goes home whenever he gets bored. Don't feel bad, if it's a stray it will look after itself and if it's owned they usually know the way back home.
You can use the primitive axe on the birds to get feathers and bones. Blades work better though for harvesting animals. You can make a bone knife pretty easily when you harvest bones from roadkill or animals.

The potential for another series for this is super exciting! This and Dave the diver are def two of my faves. Such a comfy time whenever I watch them ☁️
so everything does headshot now. you just need to put points in the attribute (like strength) to buff your headshot damage, and instant dismember/decapitation chance with the weapon that are a part of that attribute. (like strength buffs hammers, clubs, and shotguns)
so you kinda wanna find out what weapon types you want to specialize in.
Hope you continue playing Barotrauma! I'm anxiously waiting on a follow up episode and you guys did so well, so I hope your analytics warrent another playthrough.
As someone who has sunk 1500 hours into this game, I am highly enjoying watching you play this! I'd love to be able to share some tricks and tips with you, but there are too many... besides, it's more fun to watch you figure it all out yourself!

As a quick note if you keep playing this game. Little Green and Blue bars under your hotbar is your hunger and thirst levels. Only get the hungry and thirsty debuff warning once you get below 50%

Insym, please look into the term "cat distribution system". I think the cat picked you, ask around to see if anyone actually owns it! Someone may just be giving it a safe place and not be the owner. You said you were thinking about a cat once you'd settled in to your new place. Maybe this cat will make your new house a home (: Also I always love vods with these vibes

man i played this game 8 years ago and the gameplay now is suuuper good. i played it on a ps4 and i tried to download the game on my ps5 and it worked! it was still the game i remembered playing years ago. i can’t wait for them to add it to console! this game is definitely worth the 12 year wait!!

I think the random door you placed screwed with zombie pathing. I'm pretty sure zombies are programmed to prioritize doors and surrounding blocks. Decoy doors are really effective in larger scale bases or when you don't care if your walls take a lot of damage
Ever plan on playing modded? Undead Legacy or Darkness Falls were my favorite modpacks when I played.

Steam force their hands to release the game , so this is basically still alpha but with a beta sticker on top , they dint even put bandits in the game that they promised way way back .
When you have to clear houses as a mission, if you clear a house before accepting the mission, everything will reset when you start it.
Idk if you remember my previous comment but I was kind of wrong well not really but to that situation that's all you could have done ( prob ) Swarming is situational if you have time you can build hatches to make choke points , use blocks to block off doors hold them off for longer , and well use doors . I kind assume you know most of this though and this is a little to late the info above matters more on harder difficulties but are still relevant and most importantly these tend to be if you have TIME .
Things you can do even if you have very little or no time : still use blocks to poll up quickly to escape zombies and use parkour to jump on top of things . And yeah I will say it again "use guns". Doing all these things dependent on your situation can increase your chance of survival immensely .
( doing all things above really are situational and its your choice as a player on how you want to encounter and fight . play how you want its a survival game !!)

Insym, some suggestions. If your going nomad and changing bases/biomes, preemptively build your workbenches (workbench, forge, cement mixer and such). They can be packed up and will cut down on what you have to transport. Then make sure to take the pot, grill, anvil, etc. Make all upgrades to armor, weapons and such that you can so you don't have to loot for materials (at least not immediately). Best of luck and I look forward to a series.

To a degree yeah but on some stuff it's just highly frustrating. The damn books.....he knows to read them yet he still loots them and then reads them 10+ minutes later. Little things like that annoy me because he's played before and should know.

I can't believe this game blew up so big prolly ten plus years ago I was going zipper hunting on this for funzies... My PC has been dead for more so it's prolly longer... Also zipper hunting is opening and closing ur bag (if it ain't still a thing u could hear other players opening their bags) an w8n for a response whether it be peeps coming to u or friendlies doing the same. I was the dick that shot either. So crazy how the years pass and it all kicked off from an arma 2 mod for dayz wtf hope they kept some wacky shit around
