There is a rerelease of Blood Omain and Soul Revar coming to the Evercade soon, likely with a general release to everything else much like the Tomb Raider Trilogy. The folks at Evercade showed both those games at the same time.
So many people here clearly failed to see that this comic is a prequel to Soul Reaver and that the remastered version for both games already been leaked through Comic-Con.
The classic Information Society version was epic.(Kudos to Kurt) Truly one of the best trailers (back then) where the score made me want to play the game.

Highly doubt the remaster is coming. Embracer Group grabbed tons of game studios, ended up overspending and have been rushing studios close and shutting down game projects. That is why there is no announcement of new LoK game.
They should have put all this effort in making Blood Omen Legacy of Kain remake as well, and not only Soul Reaver. This could have been a prequel movie. We need Blood Omen before Soul Reaver. DO the right thing and respect the first game. It's just like Konami, making Silent Hill 2 remake before even remaking the first one. There's no respect to beloved franchises as it seems.
Problem is IP rights. Blood Omen was owned by Silicon Knights, which no longer exists. Embracer only acquired Crystal Dynamics, so Soul Reaver but not Blood Omen.

All of this, combined with his ambition, led him to the position of leader of the Serafan Inquisitors. Their objective was to defeat the vampires, who, in their view, were seen as a plague. They firmly believed that with the death of the ancient vampire, Janos Audron, everything would be resolved. The exact formation of the Inquisitors is not well known, but we do know that Raziel commanded his colleagues Dumah, Melchiah, Rahab, Zephon, and Turel, who were considered the "pride of the order." As a result of the crusades, Raziel was eventually killed in combat and buried in a sarcophagus in the Sarafan tomb alongside his companions, who were also killed in battle. They remained sanctified for a millennium. Five centuries after the famous collapse of the Pillars of Nosgoth, Kain, who was then the guardian of the Pillar of Balance, found himself in a dire situation. What he decided at that moment would trigger a series of events that would eventually prove fatal.
