One of my first really good, solid memories was of seeing "Disney IllumiNations" in Epcot when I was six, the weekend of September 11th, 2001. It was the most fantastical and amazing thing that I had ever seen, and it is probably what sparked my fascination with history. The last weekend of August, ten years after I'd first come to Disney and seen this fantastic show, I visited Epcot with my best friend and her mom. It brought me to tears. They had this playing at Chicago Airport on my way to Orlando and I got so emotional because we always watch this and it makes remember all the good times.

After booking my trip for this Dec, I started looking for the park music cause I'm just so in the Disney mood now!! Can't wait to watch this show with MY children like when I was a child!!!
The worst thing about this amazing music is the number of people who don't appreciate its sound over the fireworks. I never used to, until last year. I heard the music, and i couldn't believe I had never paid attention to the music. Now these performances are twice as good as ever, all thanks to the music.
I've watched this show so many times, i called all the shots of the fireworks and pretty much felt like a symphony orchestra conductor, i was waving my arms like a conductor throughout the whole thing recently. I love this show so much, that even though I worked at the Magic Kingdom, I STILL referred a guest to Illuminations instead of Wishes (MK Fireworks).

I've probably seen Reflections of Earth probably 40 times. Nothing compared to true die-hards, or the Cast Members who worked there, but I can play the whole show in my head, eyes closed... firerworks, fountains, barge, globe, lighting, etc. There's something about this score that reminds you of everything.
Agreed! I was in the Tapestry of Nations parade and every single night I would rush out of my costume to find a nice perch and experience this show. And it never got old! Once I left Disney I bought the CD and would listen to the whole thing almost every night. It has been a while but listening to this again brings soooooo many wonderful memories back! :)
for those wondering "where's "We Go On"?" on the album it's a separate track on it's own, and, according to Don Dorsey, Walt Disney Records didn't consult with anyone associated with the show before deciding to make WGO a separate track.
Ok I cried listening to this music and also because I remebered that my friend said this is boring and only for little kids and this all proves him so wrong but he wont listen so Im cryong of sadness and happiness at the same time.

Yeah he has 2 times and he was ten and he said he it wasnt very fun, I wanted to kill him. Whats funny is that after this summer I started seen him as really annoying (not because of the disney thing) but still we used to do everything together but now we are growing very apart and im usually hanging out with these 2 girls that love disney as much as me and we already are planning a disney movie marathon for march break.
