Do you have any idea how to change the direction of the wood grain on the sheeting (loft surface) without changing the direction of the wood grain of the ribs? I have done a lot of search online and found nothing useful. I have done a similar wing to what you did, and edited the material to Balsa, but i am having trouble with the wood grain.
what you see when lofting, is just aesthetic, not real grain or fiber direction...so you have to change the image that solidworks use. for structural analysis, mechanical properties of the wood is very hard to find since the results are affected by the laboratory conditions
