I don't care if he comes first, third or last. I admire Anton not for his talent, but for his passion ... Running, cycling, climbing ... Pure inspiration. Congratulations on your return, mate.
To achieve a time just 6 minutes slower than the time he did 15 years previously - WOW! How many ultrarunners can do that?? Keep truckin' Anton, you're a role model..
So great to see Anton back in the Ultra scene! He’s been such an inspiration to me over the years. Billy Yang, you’ve knocked it out of the park again with this film, congratulations to you and Anton
In memory of his mother, that stopped me in my tracks, so I had to go read her obituary. He comes from an amazing family, so it makes sense that he would be an amazing individual! Thank you, Billy, for making a beautiful quality film!
First tears when he discussed his injuries. I ran this race this year. And reliving it through billies eyes is nothing short of magical. I struggled with IT band issues starting at mile 23 and suffered til mile 97.3 when I hit the 30hr cutoff. Good job Anton, it’s inspiring to know how long you have worked through your issues. I will do the same.
At first when I heard the music I thought, this isn't like other Billy Yang stuff. Then, at the end when Anton talked about what kind of music he was into, it made so much sense. I the idea of reserving that until the end. Made me go for the rewatch right away!
Great job Billy and Anton. As an aging back of the pack 50km runner who’s best (aka mediocre, non competitive) days are long gone and most of my 40s lost to long term injury, I admit to being emotionally invested in Anton’s return. It’s just great to see him healthy enough to finish Leadville again and feels like the sport has found a jigsaw piece that was missing.
Another great film from Billy and so good to see Anton back. And I totally relate to loving music that's "about to fall apart" with regards to running long distances, so perfect.
Love seeing Anton back out there, I used to watch Unbreakable (The Western States 100) almost on loop when I first got in to ultra running, this just felt right. I follow Anton on Strava so I see the work he puts in, seems so grounded now. Great doc Billy.
BILLY AND ANTON...AWESOME.... THANK YOU Billy for yet ANOTHER kick ass film, To ANTON for a GREAT return, And to you ALL at Sportiva for being MY brand of choice for 20 + years !!!!! FUCK YEAH !!!!!!
Anton, you were my first few positive inspirations in the world of long distance running. Super cool to see you still active on feet, bike. Just want to say a big thank you for the passion over the years, it has infected and influenced me!!!
You are still that long haired bearded guy to me. I have rode the Old Man Winter race the last 3 years and still waiting to catch a glimpse of you. A huge inspiration to me.
Billy I love watching your stuff while I sip some coffee before I head out for a run! :) Anyone here running Houston Chevron Marathon in January 2022?? See you there!?
Beautiful man. Well done Brotha. The WS100 film from 2010 is what motivated me to dream big in the sport. Go for it until your legs won’t let you anymore.
Congrats Anton on your performance! The MUT scene has been missing you these past years! You've always been an inspiration for many of us and I'm truly happy that you enjoyed your race. Congrats to Billy Yang for the amazing video (as always) and to LaSportiva for the vision to sponsor such a well rounded athlete. Such good vibes watching this. Even the beer tasted better while watching the video! Ready for Saturday's run.
outstanding video, it feels like i am there running behind Anton. In a way its almost a parallel video to the famous 100miles Indulgence from 07. Superb filming, Antons monolog and cinematography. Just perfect. Thank you La Sportiva :)
Super inspiring and motivational! Love Anton's energy and outlook on life. Can't wait to go running today! 4 miles not 100, but those beautiful scenes from Leadville do get me thinking, maybe one day.
Glad to see Anton back and able to enjoy running. I feel for him on his "...the shirtless guy...but that was 15 yrs ago, I've moved on...", that same thing happened to the French climber Patrick Edlinger back when he was transitioning from an early 20 yrs old phenomenon to a more mature adult. Lastly but far from least: Great film as always Billy Yang!!! (and nice touch of Anton's style of music preference there at the end ;-) )
This popped up on my feed literally after returning from a day trip to Leadville. Simply one of the most beautiful places in the continent. Places like these are underrated training grounds, which the ultra community tends to take advantage of.
This is what I needed. No idea he came back and sooooo damn happy he did. Congratulations to Anton. What a great way t come back, like he never left running. Now I know I can heal and get back to the mountains. God bless Anton👍
I discovered the same thing during covid about training variety. Want from health to injury every year. Any gains were erased. I converted to a triathlete during 2020. Mileage went way down. Pace and fitness went way up. So good to see Anton healthy and crushing it again.
What a great film, really needed to watch something like this right now. Thank you for continuing to be an inspiration to us all. Great job to you, Billy Yang and crews.
I don't care if he comes first, third or last. I admire Anton not for his talent, but for his passion ... Running, cycling, climbing ... Pure inspiration. Congratulations on your return, mate.
Billy Yang, crushes it with another awesome documentary.
I seriously thought the same. When I saw the credits, I was like: sure it had to be billy!
🙏🏻❤️
Stunning videography 🤩
@@BillyYang great job man!
Seriously! Go Billy go!

Dude runs because he loves running. He's a soul runner - finding his meaning, life's purity, the whole damn point - out there. It's very Zen.
He seems so much more grounded and mature in this doc as compared to the Western States doc from a decade ago. Cool to see his evolution.
A decade'll do that to ya.
@@walt4670 Yup, that'll do it
Thank you, Anton, just for being yourself. I guess this is the main reason you're so popular in ultra-running community
In memory of his mother, that stopped me in my tracks, so I had to go read her obituary. He comes from an amazing family, so it makes sense that he would be an amazing individual!
Thank you, Billy, for making a beautiful quality film!
You are easily amazed

Wow man. Sounds like hell but hopefully it was still an amazing experience. You are tough as nails You’ll be back!
You gave it hell, good effort man, it really is a super cryptic course with stout cut off’s

The movie is beautifully done. Anton is the legend!!! And I love the Zipps on Anton's bike:-)

Really inspiring for an amateur runner like myself to see these guys pushing themselves to the limit
Anton and Billy nailed it!
Anton is back!! Really hope to see you again in France in 2022!! Legends never die 💪
I was thinking "yes, this is the kind of doc I love" and yet again it is the incredible Billy Yang! I just love his artistic voice apparently!
That distance is me travelling from Lichfield, Staffordshire to Maidenhead, London to see my daughter.... ridiculous and WOW!! 😎
Great job Billy and Anton. I feel you
Brilliant film. Awesome to see Anton back. 15 years older and only 6 minutes slower what a legendary performance
Awesome. This guy is a legend. Great movie

He's done it again. Way to capture the emotions and moments, Billy.
Wow! Phenomenal!! Super inspiring.
These videos always get me pumped up to run, the only thing is that mile 12 for me is like mile 99 for them.
What a brilliant documentary….I’m a bit late on to this, but have watched it numerous times…..what a journey, really inspirational, thank you 👊👍
excellent !
Legend! Respect from Brazil. 👊👏
So damn happy Tony is back! Love it!

Really great movie and it’s so fantastic to see Anton back on ultra track 😀👍
Best trail vid of the year so far
You are a beautiful person Billy Yang. Thanks for all the happiness you bring. Loved the John Muir film you made. Watched it multiple times. ❤️❤️
So inspiring. I was just getting into ultras when he was big and this is just great- my favorite kind of music, too- who knew
The production value behind these documentaries is through the roof. Great job!
billy yang you're worth the credit at the opening of this great film. It would only benefit to know the credibility of what we're about to enjoy.
In Anton we trust ! Such a inspiration this guy. Love every simple clip with Anton. Big thx for this movie @billy 👌👌
Pretty sick that you guys were able to get a Pile track for the end of the film - I’m sure Anton was stoked on that 👍
Indeed he was
Congratulations Anton. You are an inspiration to the running community.
Awesome little short film. Tony's last line and that song are perfect. Good times
So epic! Congrats Anton and great job Billy!
i❤Leadville
Every time I need inspiration to get back out there. Anton's video with Killian climbing Grand Teton is my go to video to watch.
Groso total!!! Abrazo grande de la Patagonia - Argentina
Billy’s (and Anton’s) best work.
I've followed this guy since 06. Dude is a legend and so humble. So happy for him!!
Awesome video! So cool to see Anton back kicking butt! Another awesome Billy film 🤙

Wasn't surprised to see Billy Yang made this... The enhanced sound of running at the start was a nice touch 😉
Great to see Anton in action again, that was an awesome time especially after the lay off 👍🏃
