    Performed live at 54 Below
Musical theater writer Joe Iconis is proud to bring his unique
mash-up of showtune cabaret and rock and roll jamboree to
54 Below. Join Mr. Iconis and his merry band of musical
theater punks as they roar their way through a set of Joe's
incendiary songs. The huge cast of brilliant actor/singers,
lunatic musicians and legendary special guests will offer you
an evening where searing character studies meet drunken
back room sing-alongs. This is no mere concert. This is a
great, big, howling love-letter to passionate musical theater at
its best and bloodiest. Grease up your kazoo, fill your
whiskey glass and stay for a while. It's going to be a helluva
    night.

This song was written by Joe Iconis(guy playing the piano), he regularly performs with Broadway stars such as John Gallagher Jr, Daphne Ruben Vega and many more, including Smash's very own diva Krysta Rodriguez. Smash covered this song as well as ''Broadway, here I come''. They weren't written for the show, but they fit in very well.

Coming here after 6 years makes me cry reminding me of the “goodbye song” in Be more chill :(

@@funnylittlecreature It is not, but the cast sang it together after the final performance of BMC on Broadway which is most likely what they were referring to.

When it got to the “ride a bike” part, and I realize it was about a dying father saying goodbye his young child, I started to loose it.

It's an emotional song. You could be saying goodbye at graduation, reunion, or a funeral.
