driver changing lanes has to do it safely. Yeah the DC car could have slowed down, but the Hilux is the idiot here for an unsafe lane change.

@@ScottsCarcameras unless other states are different, Victorian law says the vehicle changing lanes has to do it safely, changing lanes with another vehicle that close and travelling faster, wouldn't be deemed a safe lane change.

What if the DC car were an ambulance and they were needing to get to a property past where the van and car were. Precious seconds lost because they were stpid enough to exit out the entrance

I would love to see a ONE WAY special Scotty! The amount of entitled people who want people to move who are doing the right thing is incredible!
A lot of my life I've tried to anticipate what others will do. E g at 05:53 I would never continue to pass the red ute! Sound my horn? Accelerate? Brake? I wouldn't trust him, I'd be pro-active and do something!
And thank you for the kangaroos, after over 50 years in Europe that's one thing I miss!

This is happening far too often these days. Anyone doing this should never be in the driver's seat of any vehicle again.

4:27 ...busy day on the road. All 4 people who live in the town are out and about at the same time, must be overwhelming to try and keep an eye on what all that traffic is doing. (also, it's a "servo", not a "garrij".. and his cigarette is perfectly fine. )
Happy New year Scott. I just came across one of your educational videos and on checking, it was seven years ago! I think they are a great idea, even if they only serve as a refresher. It is amazing just how many people, probably in all states, haven’t quite mastered roundabouts yet! Here is a suggestion for a video. These days there are many people of all ages with e-scooters and e-bikes. I understand that in SA, or at least in Adelaide, people are not permitted to use their own e-bikes/ scooters, because there is just to much mayhem on the roads. They can however hire them. In the other states, that’s not the case, as I understand it. I personally feel very strongly, that if people want to use these vehicles on our roads, then they should be allowed to do so, BBBUUUTTT- they MUST undergo some sort of training/ licensing, so that when things go wrong, that they can be identified and further more, these vehicles should above all be registered with license plates !! Maybe you could come up with a video, or a segment in that regard? I have seen people go just about as fast as these bikes will go, such as 70 or 80km/ hour in a 50 km/ hour zone, without a care in the world and a complete disregard for anyone else on the road!! I believe that this will be highly controversial, but will become absolutely necessary in the not too distant future!! Btw., always enjoy your videos!😊

Thats a long tunnel... Qustion is how long is it... We have the worlds longets tunnel its called Lærdalstunnelen and it 24,5 km long or 15,23 miles..

* FYI - in the movie 'Smokey & the Bandit' (1977) Burt Reynolds drove the recently released 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with a 6.6-litre V8 (180bhp/141KW).
The '85 Trans Am didn't come into production for another 8 years !!

It is amazing how car engines have progressed. I spent way too much in the early '80s getting more HP out of my LX Torana. Now my soccer mum Kluger has much more than the turdrunner. What they make up for in HP, they lose in character. By the way, just because I can, I'll mention I have a motorhome with a 12L, turbo diesel pulling 420HP.

The channel is Scott's Car Cameras. Most of it is idiot drivers, then ends with some interesting road stuff. It's been this way for a long time now.
