It's a grim story, but you can't take your eyes off these two leads.
I love how some actors have the balls to tell you what their process is finding an accent. Maybe no one tells them it’s rubbish cos they are famous but this accent is giving me PTSD of One Fine Day
If you're talking about Hathaway - she said in an interview with Variety that she purposely used 'an accent that doesn't exist' because of the mystery and uncertainty of the character. I'm not in a position to say if it works or not, just that she is aware that the accent is unrealistic. Although I agree, sometimes accents are so distracting.
@@pinapplelife9989 But it does sound vaguely New England-ish. I think Tomasin's accent has some kiwi breaking through though.
@@pinapplelife9989 I think it works pretty well. She's seen from Eileen's perspective and infatuation with her so it gives her a unique air about her. Great performance from Hathaway.

I could just almost smell the smoke while watching this scene...All the smokers in my life passed away a long time ago so that was really weird.

3 gunshots, 1st and 2nd were fake, 3rd one was expected fake but was a real and tricked the viewers. two crazy girls got away with murder or what? it was a normal girl's life simulation for 65 min. i think eileen shot because she got nothing to do and wanted some crazy excitement. all is gonna look for a missing ignorant mother... where can two girls go?
