Hey guys, I brought me "Crysis" and I just want to start it and then I have the problem with the registration code on "Steam". They won't let me start the game, the game wants that I use the registration key, but when I fill the gap with the key the game wants me to do it again.......If anyone can help me, this would be pretty badass. Thank you.
I tried everything, bit I don`t even have the Game.cfg anywhere I am so p*** off right now. Paying for original game and not even able to run it (also I had key registration issue)
Followed all 3 methods, it didnt do anything... Me having win11 could be a problem tho im not sure. If anyone knows an updated fix please let me know thanks a lot!
Doesn't work for meeee dang. I have it on origins (because it was bugged on steam), so I changed the exe location on the third tip and it did nothing unfortunately.
Hey will this work for me if i have a 12 core amd instead of an 8 core? I also have Crysis Warhead installed and it works fine for me. Should I just use the Warhead dlc fix instead?
I made this reply already but something happened to the comment. If you're on Origin or EA: Desktop; then try these steps. 1. Complete method 2 in the video 2. Go to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Crysis\Bin64 3. Run Crysis.exe as admin (not Crysis64.exe) 4. Should work. if still having issues, try going to the Bin32 folder and running the crysis.exe there as admin. Some people have only gotten the game to work on 32 bit and I'm not sure why. If you're interested in following the info I read type the normal redit url, then "/r/Crysis/comments/aj0yqk/crysis_1_stopped_working_windows_10_origin/"
@@sugmatrot THANK YOU! It would be nice for this to be pinned for Origin users. For me it worked by doing method 2 in the VIDEO and your steps 2 and 3. Thank you @Scoby Tech Tutorials as well!
My dude, been trying for forever to get this to work. Final part, start options got it to work. Had to tweak the command a bit since it's installed on a different drive allocation but it works finally. You are the man!
After fkn years of trying to get the first part to work, i tried literally everything since i bought the bundle, and nothing. Crysis 1 is my favourite part, and finally il be able to play it thanks to you, you're a bloody genius man !
Could you help me? My Crysis pc game is keep on set to speaker and wouldn’t go through headphone. Do you know how to fix the problem to put the game go through headphones
worked , thanks. LAter inside game i changed resolution to 1920x 1080 and checked FULLSCREEN. Restarted it from steam again and YES IT IS IN FULL SCREEN
Alternatively (After the 2nd step!); IF you have the game via Origin/EA, go to the folder location, right click Crysis.exe & run as Admin. I wasn't expecting it to launch and work, but it did lol
@@Scoby Have Steam but had Crysis War...... on cd from old..... unused because of high specs at the time....Thanks I will figure something out eventually.....like maybe the BIN.....haha...
Under My Games/Crysis there is no games.cfg file. Is that a hidden file that you cannot see if you don't have Notepad++ installed? I would suspect not.
@@Scoby Yeah. I can run warzone so long as I copy its exe to desktop. However, I tried copy and pasting the bin64 file from warzone to regular crysis and I can now get through the cutscenes and main menu, but it blanks after trying to load. Its whatever, at least I get to play warzone.

Strange normally at least the last option should have worked, I'm also ultra wide and using an and GPU. I really don't know of other options to suggest to be honest, do you know the warhead dlc?
Yeah, I had that at first, but the last method fixed my issue. I really don't know what to suggest after this, as I can't troubleshoot an issue I don't have sadly.
It didn't work for me. Trying to figure out what works. Also, I don't own this game on steam, I own it in origin. Say the same instructions for Origin please.
@@Scoby hey, I fixed it. Just go open bin64 and try to open the game. There will be two crysis.exe, try to open the game and it works. For 64bit, you can run the game from there.
1:06 woah , that cursor is having a seizure! anyway, none of these solutions work for me. i share what (discovered by fluke) worked for me instead: ignore origin, navigate to crysys/bin64 and locate the Crysis.exe that weights 9 MB. open properties > compatibility and set it exactly for "Windows vista", without service pack. Launch that program. works 🎉
Thank you so much, I must have watched at least 10 videos that did nothing and then you gave me this gem and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the simple solution and professional video.
Thank you so much for this! The one that worked for you also worked for me. Perhaps because I also have an 8 core AMD. It's weird that you need to do this, but I sure appreciate the help!!
Got this to work by copying the Bin64 from Crysis Warhead and putting in the string to point to the Bin64 in Crysis that I just copied. Also copied the Config.cfg from warhead into the my documents as I did not have one for Crysis - not sure if that was needed. Thanks for the help!

The final tip actually worked for me. Thanks for finding it!
Does this work for Intel CPUS?
I no longer have an Intel cpu to test sadly, all the first method should work with intel, excluding the last one I think

Is there a way to make it run at 60 fps constant tho? That’s the only problem I have, there’s some areas where it tanks to 40fps
Turn off cursor shadow
