Interesting to see that the best days in fly fishing are not determined by the size of the fish one catches. Lovely video Gareth, excellent videography transmitting your impressions of the day - easily one of your best videos

Another great video, Gareth! I finally got to catch my first trout of 2023 on a small creek in North Georgia. Nothing like the amazing scenery and big browns you've got in New Zealand. But, at least I'm not just sitting at home watching your videos 🙂 Keep the great content coming!

I was hunting up in the hills and cometo the car park at the end of %^$# road and found a a guy from finland and france both had the previous day caught their largest ever fishes and had drunk all their beer joed out and flattened their car batteries. the Finnish guys fish was 72cm,s long and in the picture it looked like a whale.

Hmm, when you have quite a bit of line out why not just hit the edge of your reel with the palm of your hand to spool it back on since it goes a LOT faster than reeling it on, no criticism just a practical question.
