There's such a thing as too evenly matched,seen many similar,great to watch,but have been left too long in some cases and ppl suffered lifelong injuries etc,the issue is if you are the ref,and stop this you'd be lynched,so idk what the answer to that is. Macklin’s tactics were absolutely terrible. He was fighting on fumes by the 4th or 5th round. Then swinging like a mad man when he had nothing left. He throws punches, but there is nothing on them. For some reason the Sky commentary carry on like he is having success. It was only a matter of time before the fight ended like this.

I can't remember the reason but I think it was something to do with one of the fighters having had most of their fights there or something.

Wake up boxing world.....same amount of blows to the head ....way more damage to one opponent...there is seriously bad glove rules in place even today that makes the sport not only dangerous but unfair...pls research what a fighter can require legally when it comes to gloves...if the b side is not clued up they can have a disadvantage.. as long as the gloves weigh correctly that’s it .....but a boxer can have certain padding moved to different areas...ie I have a issue with my top of the hand can my right glove have more padding in this area...... hence less padding in the fist but glove passes test because weight is correct......this loss was down to a bad team not looking after the technical boxing world....the sport is corrupt to the core.
