  • A few shots of the Akrapovic slip-ons on my 2019 Triumph Speed Twin 1200. They add more nuance than volume, which is what I wanted. The decel grumbles are the best part. I'll make a proper sound check video once I've finally done the decat.

    Oooh, they sound very nice indeed. I'm tempted to do the same with my Speed Twin, but I think a rear suspension upgrade needs to come first.

    I have the same exhaust pipes on mine and I love them. Definitely has a great sound.

    Just bought 3 Tunes from DNK. The Daytona Moto2, Thruxton RS Ton Up and the Speed 1200RR. Thruxton and Speedy have aftermarket slip ons. Haven't test rode them yet. $235 for each.

      Increased redline specific to each model
      Optimization of AFR on full throttle
      Optimization of timing under full throttle
      Significantly reduced deceleration popping entirely in all modes
      Optimization of fueling based on Power Commander Maps and Dyno Testing
      Recurved throttle mapping and rider modes for a more engaging experience
      Optimized AFR in cruise and low throttle for driveability (no more stalling or snatch ever again)
      Enable/Disable Secondary Air Injection
      Enable/Disable O2 Sensors
      No more cold start/stalling issues
      Remove power/throttle limiters on certain models
      Speedometer correction on certain models
      Enable Cruise Control on models with optional Cruise Control

      Wow! I can barely hold on to Thruxton! The maps are locked so I can't see where the modifications were done. It'll pull my head off! The 1200RR was a beast to begin with, but now it's a rocket 🚀 ship to the moon. Can you say "too much power"?!! 😄😄

    Do you get a lot of pops and bangs as you have with the V&H slips?

      More like crackles. Lots and lots of crackles.

      @@VanBlamm asking because you never get the real sound on video.
      With the VH you get nice pops on some donwshift and sometimes when you close the throttle, and a lot of crackling below 3k RPM.
      I have the VH but also like the aesthetics of these !
