Thanks for watching!
The overall design of that Lifter type gelgoog looked pretty cool. Engines for the flight pack look like something off an A-10.
i think you’re right with that one cus the wings also resembles the a-10 its jus redesigned to a swept wing
I definitely appreciated the Gelgoog + Gyan hangar scene. It's surely simple, but I've always had immense appreciation for builders that do any sort of diorama scene. I've always lacked the creativity for diorama's myself, so it's really nice to see other people succeed!
I really loved that gelgoog cannon with the shark mouth painted around the visor!
I really dig the custom work for that Gelgoog Marine. The big head crest with the smaller head just works for me.
The regelgu was my favorite design. The huge shoulders and that backpack looked awesome on it I also really liked the color scheme.
I liked the Char Gelgoog. The one with the airplane parts on it was really creative, too!
I really liked the retro color choice for Anavel Gato's Gelgoog. It fits nicely with the MG1 Model and I love seeing these older kits being used.
I think that desert Gelgoog is my favorite type. I love anything desert version. Desert Zakus, desert Dom-Tropen, desert Nemos, Maganacs, they all seem so cool to me. Makes them feel more realistic somehow, because of the need to customize for their environment. Gelgoogs are my all-time favorite non-gundam mobile suit and I've never seen a desert gelgoog before and it made me really happy.
Love the Competition Gelgoog. The white and black colour scheme makes me think of early AVRO jet prototypes!
My favorite was the one with the airplane wings! I'm not really an armor/plane modeler, but it's cool to see people using those parts in conjunction with gunpla.
My favorite would be the lifter unit gelgoog. The backpack is very impressive, and the zakufication of the gelgoog itself is really unique. That rifle looks very nice too.
Defiantly the white testing Gelgoog that was in the set with the Gyan, the color and the set really makes it cool
Competition diorama is my favorite. Love all the little details
The Desert diorama was really cool. Probably my favorite.
Love these gundam weapon / nook books. Imo some of the greatest modeling work on display in these pages. The G gundam 3D book is an incredible one to check out as well. My fav here was definitely the all white one. Love a good all white kit.
Digging the Grey City customs here. My personal favorite is the green mass production Gelgoog 2.0
I liked the anti-battleship canon test type for inspiration. A unique “big gun” is always fun to see
I've always loved Gatos colors on the Zeon suits for some reason
But my favorite would have to be that canyon diorama, man that piece is inspirational
Gato's bright color scheme is alarming, yet alluring to the mind's eye 👁️ it reminds one of the pleasantries of youth. Yet the striking premise of the gelgoog makes one on edge. Justifying your dread of an approaching enemy, advancing through the camouflage. Do you fire, if you do, will the shot make it's mark. Or will the enemy prevail???? And become very fartworthy 😛👍
Well guess I have to build the Gelgoog 2.0 in my Backglog now. These books seem to have some really amazing insight into the building of diorama environments. I need more of these in my life haha. Keep em coming!
The Huge wing backpack was my favorite. Creative and really nice
My favourite Gelgoog is definitely have to be the winged flight-type Gelgoog. Very badass.
That white Gelgoog takes the cake for me. Fuel tanks bring it home
I really liked the camo Gelgoog canon with the shark mouth. The Gelgoog is my favorite OG design and I love seeing cool variations. I throng the Regelgoog was probably my second favorite because we never get enough oddball ZZ designs. Thanks a gain for a great video!
I loved the desert gelgoog and the lifter type was so unique. I really love these and am going to start getting some myself
Loved the cannon msv version and the flight type! Both with excellent execution.
For me my favorite would be either the Johnny Ridden Gelgoog, the Grey city diorama and desert canyon diorama. Simply because Johnny Ridden's gelgoog is one of my favourite MSV designs, while the grey city has some cool camouflage ms in a diorama that looks like a WW2 era European front town that blends together with the MS with customization and the canyon being very inspiring for me since I like to make natural trench/canyon like dioramas for grunt MS while at the same time the gelgoogs have a look of desperation.
I like the Gray City type. It's a real nice camo version, and the pictures look real good too.
I’m not gonna lie I’m absolutely loving the marine type. Incredibly cool
I always liked the Gelgoog Marine design but that Lifter Unit Test Type build is really interesting!
I enjoyed finding diorama photos of Gunpla back in the early/mid 2000s. Those Gray City Gelgoogs remind me of pictures on that old website. What a nostalgia trip!
Mine was definitely the "competition gelgoog". I love me some big armor cutouts. Flaunt those sexy frame details. B)
I liked the factory scene. It was simple, yet effective with the proper lighting
The hanger Gelgoog was my favorite for this mook.
The gelgoog cannon with she shark mouth is just so cool
I really like the lifter unit flight type. Delicate looking fuel tanks to go alongside the chonk of the overall rest of the Gelgoog.
My favorite design was the MSV Gelgoog Cannon. The Gelgoog Cannon is just my favorite Gelgoog design along with the Gelgoog 3. I love big cannons and the different head looks really mean and intimidating it's just super cool
I have a soft spot for the Gelgoog Cannon from Grey City, it gives me some WWII vibes. I also have a soft-spot for cannon variants like the Zaku Cannon and the Jesta Cannon. Love books like these though, I've gotten a few from Japan lately for Maschinen Krieger. Makoto Kobayashi's Hyperweapon books are also great but not strictly modeling. Got my MG Gelgoog 2.0 recently from the reprint so I'm excited to build my own. Tempted to make my own diorama for it now.
If I had to chose a favorite that would be the Gelgoog cannon, it's simple and even if based on the 1.0 it's one of the most unique Gelgoog variants, that's why it's my favorite one from the ones appearing in the book
my favorite was the green gelgoog that implemented zaku design elements and had the huge flight unit
I put these videos on specifically when I build to be inspired and relax. Thank you for making so many.
My favorite is the Gelgoog Desert Type depicted later/towards the end of the nook 👌🏽
As a big fan of the Qubeley that Regelgu made my day, looks like a nice blend.
The lifter unit looks aweosome!
I like the GP01 ,with its big white Armour ,which you recently showed, that one is amazing outstanding
Honestly i really liked the one in the grey camo. But i also loved the white one with the blue markings that had the big ass cannon
I love the the white an BFF blue trible one. Love the big bullets
MSV Gelgoog Cannon, those colors are A+
Oh, hey, Mitsuaki Misaki is the author of the Gundam Scratch Build Manuals! His twitter is stellar for scratchbuilding techniques from detailing to fully forming a kit from nothing. I love these particular mooks, and the Dom one has a trio done up by MAX that look stellar.
Got the Dom issue in the queue! 👍
The Lifter unit test type Gelgoog was interesting, looked wicked and reminded me of the Dom Mermaid.
I really liked the cannon type. The arm cannon is very cool.
Love the design of Gelgoog Cannon and i just got my Gelgoog 2.0 and some 3D parts. Planning to do a customize so love to have this book for more references 😁
The Flying Atmosphere Type with wings! It just gave me an idea for my next build!
Love the Gelgoog. I want to make a Gelgoog Cannon with the arm launcher and shield replaced with the arm thrusters. Essentially a High Mobility Gelgoog with the Cannon head and backpack.
My favourite was the Regelgu, the custom shoulders were impressive
I got to say the Gelgoog cannon. I’ve been a fan of the cannon type variants of one year war mobile suits.
I think the gelgoog with the lifter pack is my favorite design, and would give the cannon version with the galling gun from the grey city scene would be my second
i really like the gelgoog town diorama, i rarely see any dioramas showing towns
That Regelgu color scheme was so cool. Definitely my favorite of these.
These books are my favorite to read while chilling hopefully if i get one
I really enjoy these reviews 🙂
And I know it wasn’t up your alley, but I enjoyed the „Kämpfer“ style one. And the anti ship cannon one too 🤔 hard to decide between the two
I was a huge fan of the anti-battleship test type. Those gigantic ridiculous weapons fit so well in Gundam in my mind. It also embodies the arms race between the Federation and Zeon so well.
I definitely liked the MS 14-D gelgoog, the one with the open mechanical parts, the MOST! I'm into that stuff and the design looks unfinished, theres a lot still to be tempered with. I love it!
Anyway, another interesting video!
Looking forward to next stream.
cheers
my favriout gelgoog custom is the cameo version with the awesome shark mouth in the visor it makes the ms more agressive putting fear into thoese fedis
My favorite is definetly the lifter unit test type, wings looks very nice
I really liked the Anti-Battleship Gelgoog, very extreme.
I've got MG gelgoog uma lightning last year, love child between zeon and federation
So many different versions. Awesome.
I like the one with the atmospheric flight pack or wing unit.
I also have the B-Club Upgrade kit for the MG Gelgoog , Gelgoog Jeager from Gundam 0080 .
I really like the Regelgu! I am actually also working on one with the gelgoog marine and so far it's good.
I know Gato's design isn't great, but he's a cool character so it was nice to see that one in there.
The Gelgoog with the anti ship cannon is actually so sick with all the accessories. I actually like the blue tattoo part cause it gives Shin Matsunaga vibes. The Gelgoog is just such a sweet MS overall
I really enjoyed the city camo Zaku build, may have to try something similar myself
Best part was definitely the design process/drawings of the gelgoog. Very rare do we see a 100% translation of model kits from their drawing form and we rarely get to see them in bigger formats. So it was definitely my favourite
Plane Gelgoog definitely. Very weird decisions taken but somehow it works. I would like to be that brave with my modeling.
I'd love to just say 'all of them', as Gelgoog types are among my fav of the 'grunt elite' suits. But, out of what was shown in this particular Mook, I'd have to go with the Gatling Gelgoog Canon. (I've got Char's 2.0, and seeing the different inner frame on the 1.0 is really interesting!) Seeing the customization of Jonny Ridden's gives me ideas. ^_^
I really like the design of the Lifter Type Gelgoog. Out of all the designs it caught my eye the most and makes me wanna build one of my own tbh. It almost looks like its a released kit.I really enjoy how they incorporated the zaku style piping and i think the atmosphere backpack brings almost like a breath of fresh air into a design i already love. You can tell they definitely put a lot of thinking and effort into it.
Wooooww...thanks you so much for reviewing this magazine..if really hard to find..especially in my country..
Please do more reviewing gundam weapon :D
I liked the Gelgoog with the flight pack.
I like the gray city scene with the camo is something I would like to try and learn to do
My favorite Zeon Mobile Suit! Especially the Gelgoog Marines! Sad that no one did Cima's Custom.
I actually enjoyed the flight version model kit! I wish I had the expertise to make a similar version!
Regelgu for the win! This book looks really nice, cheers
i really like the design of Gelgoog Lifter
The Cannon MSV is my favorite version of gelgoog.
man, I love gelgoogs
I think my favorite is the desert canyon diorama. It's such a neat idea and the whole cramped feel of it really stands out compared to most diorama designs
my favorite is the ReGelgu because massive shoulder pads are considered cool.
I like the lifter - I don't think I've seen a lot of winged backpacks on Zeon suits!
I did like the dessert model towards the end lol
I'll be the contrarian,
The Anavel Gato Gelgoog is my favorite as I'm actually a fan of the color scheme. I'll admit it's an odd color scheme but as a kid I owned the MSIA action figure of the Anavel Gato Gelgoog so I'm thinking nostalgia is a factor - maybe it's time to build a MG Gelgoog in those colors!
I like the Grey City units. I love seeing old kits get modern updates and the finish is nice.
Gelgoog johnny ridden and the grey city triple is my pick
The regular Gelgoogs are not quite my type, however I did like quite a bit that color scheme for the ReGelgu, made it look like some sort of prototype for a Qubeley
Almost anything desert or Kondo works for me. Thanks again for posting these Mook videos. Also you could show us some of your favorite issues of Model Graphix or Hobby Japan. One more thing me being nosey, what is that mech in that cool little case off to your right on the edge of your work desk? Man that was a long comment,
Take care!
i just love the Char and Gato ones
Hey zach, nice review, keep these mooks coming, also my favorite was the one with the wings.
That desert gelgoog is my fav type :)
Now if only _anyone_ had the MG Mass Production Gelgoog 2.0 in stock...
I've been looking for over two years. Haven't found a single one.
I've always loved zeon designs, they're so cool
