Those fabrics behind you on the shelf are sooooo gorgeous. To me there is not an ugly fabric, just not my choices to work with in a project. My first love was appliqué. Love your blocks, this ain’t my first rodeo watching your uploads. You go girl.🎉😊👍
I’m really enjoying your tutorials and hope you’ll do more! I especially appreciate your tip on gridding the fabric edges for placement of the pieces. Thanks for that! I will MOST DEFINITELY be doing that for all future projects. I’m learning so much from you and have begun buying supplies based off your recommendations ❤
Your fabric choices are gorgeous (the elusive Cheddar and Coal print 😍) Love watching your channel!! Thanks for sharing this with us. Many blessings to you!
Love your videos Olivia! I enjoy hand applique and am looking forwrd to using the Apliquick tools. You have a lovely intonation as you teach. Thank you
Love your fabric choices Olivia! Your quilt will be beautiful! Makes me want to make The Raven again - maybe my Butternut & Peppercorn II - it’s a thought. Your tutorials using Apliquick are very helpful and looks fun! Thanks again!
I probably am joining this late but are you hand appliquéing the pieces? I love this block and your fabric choices! I can’t wait to see what it looks like finished.
Hi! I'm a Bbd addict. I have been trying to collect several of their books. So far I have finished 2 Bird song from Over the meadow. I was able to sell one and complete one for myself. Its hanging on my livinroom wall. . I haven't tried the appliquick method. I'm researching the technique. What material did you use as the iron on? Looking forward to the rest of Raven.
Thank for sharing your process. I've learn a lot. Say do you have any tips on keeping the glue from harding within the metal shaft. I make sure I cap and wash after each use. Yet I always seem to have to take a bit of time to get the glue free flowing at the beginning of the process. Thanks
Hi Susan! Are you talking about the Roxanne's glue? I used to have that same problem. Now they sell the bottles with a little piece of plastic to leave in the metal shaft while you're not using it, which works great. For my older bottles, I'll leave a skinny needle or pin in the shaft. It's not perfect, but it helps a bit. You know when you buy clothes and the tag is connected by a piece of thin plastic with a tab on top? That's what the piece of plastic they include these days looks like. If you run across one of those, maybe see if it will fit in the shaft. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, let me know and I can send you a pic. 😊
@@OliviaBFlosstube Yes, sorry Roxanne's glue. You have answered my question, completely. I know exactly what you where referring to, those red plastic tags😂I just didn't leave them in the glue bottle shaft. Thanks again. 👍

Thanks, Loraine! I really need to cut into them and make them into some quilts, but they're so pretty like that, all together! 😁
You make it look so easy. Wow the grid is awesome. Thank you for the tutorials.
You're so welcome! I wish I could actually work in fast forward mode, lol!
