My wife are having a short break in Edinburgh next month and will be having a 1-day train trip to Dundee, a city we have never been to. Initially the trip was just to for the journey over the two famous bridges, Forth & Tay, but there seems a fair bit to see in Dundee too.
This video has been very helpful, especially with the addition of important facts.
I'm not sure about the V&A though, yes thje building looks great but a lot of comments / reviews mention that there isn't very much inside .. seems a pity really.

Yeh, better to hop on a train to either Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen if you're a shopaholic.
