Great Smoky and Blue Ridge Mountains | I-40 Eastbound | Just Drive | Life of a New Werner OTR Driver

May 12, 2021 Enjoy one hour of just driving through the Smoky Mountains/Blue Ridge Mountains on I-40 eastbound, heading to Asheville, NC. One weigh station. Lots of curves. No talking! Bring your coffee, play some music and let’s drive!! Oh, and bring a rain coat. It gets a bit wet.
By the way...the Great Smoky Mountains are a mountain range along the Tennessee and North Carolina border. They are a apart of the Blue Ridge Mountains and both are part of the Appalachian Mountains.

Looks like you were headed for Statesville, or maybe destined for Wilkesboro. To avoid the mountains near Boone, you took the gorge. Great video!
