Holy shit I used to know Adrienne! We used to play shows together and hang out, it's crazy to see how far she's come from playing small time gigs in Guildford.
Dude, the fact that you could separate yang's and blake's parts of the lyrics just amazes me, and now all of it its just so much clear and deep. I love it.
"It's my turn to take back what you stole!" Are you talking about your arm? I don't think he has it. Or do you want to cut off *his* arm and affix it to yours? Because... That's dark.
The fact was that we as a fandom fell for Adam's facade just as Blake had. We thought he was just a troubled Anti-Hero when he had been was more far gone than that. It only took a harsh wake up call to realize it.
There was no "facade". How many (including me) think of Adam to be? IS what he was supposed to be originally. I don't know where this "abuse" stuff came from:/
@@ItsB1998 You sure about that? With Monty's original plan, Adam still would've attacked Blake and Yang during the Fall of Beacon. The only difference was that this fight would've happened back then instead of in Volume 6 and that Yang might not have ended up losing her arm. Adam still would've been an asshole, and he still would have died.
The song is really impressive. Like, those are some strong lyrics. From Blake's claiming her freedom from him, to Yang being as determined as ever to get revenge (I like how she never mentions she will protect Blake in that song.) and how it is made clear, even from the beginning that he is a monster, indeed but he became like this, not because he was born like it, and especially the end, starting at 3:50 gives the whole song a really darker tone, and it was already quite fucking dark. Which is kinda sad in a way. Because the songs are really good, but if the plot and the respect for Mounty Oun's characters could be half as good as the songs, the show would at least still be half-decent.

I didn't know it was hard to separate them. The lyrics are clearly for yang or Blake.

Ponera Grimoire I think it’s more psychological, like Adam ‘stole’ Yang’s sense of security and/or mental health by disarming her so easily
