These days gp by so fast. I quit coffee a few weeks ago. I was addicted to it for 33 year's. I now only have one addiction, guitar. Hope tp see tou tonight if I remember. Been tired since the kick.
Wish we were neighbors; my wife and I would invite over to eat as often as possible and we could jam together 😂. I'm been playing Classical guitar for a while now but you've made me 😂pull out my Martin. 😢 it'd be so much fun to play together and eat Italian food w 🍷 😂play sing some Dylan, Young, Beatles whatever you're in to at the moment. Bach, Pink Floyd 😂whatever. Originals, write some songs 🎵 😂😂😂😂
Cool! I have a ‘37 Triumph; built on 14th St in NYC; where yours was built as well. The old Epiphone building is still there as part of the Parsons School of Design. That is the building in which Les Paul built The Log on Sundays. He was friends with the Stathopoulos family and they gave him use of the factory for him to tinker on Sundays. The Les Paul Model should’ve been an Epiphone, and not a Gibson 😉.
Hello Cindy. Thank you for this video. I feel like I should know this but, you explain it so well it makes it easy to see. I wanted to learn that C shape because I blieve I can use it in an intro riff for the Guy Clark song: Boats to Build. Thanks again, See you Tuesday Cheers
BTw. I believe in every video I hear you say "just have fun with it". Thanks for that reminder, if you are not getting paid then you should do it for fun and enjoyment.
i.m.o. are the triads nice for taking an easy 'shortcut' for the fast 'inbetween' walks in your progression ... but if you play them fully barred you have also the option of beautiful basslines ...
at reaching the twelfth it is a lot harder to barre your chords if you have a twelve-fretter ... that is why they invented the cutaway ... or you can play a fourteen-fretter instead 😇
@@guitarnotions ofcourse ... I have a friend who had a terrible hand injury with a long time recovery ... He discovered the triads and two-finger 'shortcuts' as you have shown the past week ... and now he can continue his passion for playing guitar ... So nothing bad about triads ... and sure they have a good function in fast playing
Guitar is fascinating. There are so many ways to see the same things. To wit: Dm7 turning to a Major triad is a tad confusing to me. My brain insists that it is an F-shaped triad, with root on String 1. I don't think that I've ever played a B-flat from the first fret. My brain sees that shape as an A-shaped triad, with root on String 3.
Here it is 20:00 h. UTC right now, and there was no reminder ... (we use military time) I think the reminder is transferred here to UTC time and will appear prior to your life-vlog ... (never done this before ... and otherwise you will read my jokes later on 😅)
Gorgeous chords!!!! Thank you so much Cindy.
Thanks for listening❤️
@@guitarnotionsalso I think we should invent a new word “ pinger ficking”! 😅😂😂❤

Well your brain is doing a good job. I think it helps to see it from different angles. ❤️
