They really didn't raise prices, that's just inflation. That said, even in 2014 this was way overpriced as the materials are literally $3. Its not even that great of a back panel system either, as the video shows how he struggles attaching it.
So I'm curious... You're wearing gloves in your reviews. You have all this expensive kit because obviously you are a mil-sim type guy. I'm sure your wearing tons of stuff on your 2nd line that you probably don't need. But then you question why guys would run around with bolt cutters in an airsoft game??? I'm pretty sure you just answered your own question.
I'd like to ask, what is the point of having these kinds of packs on Plate carriers, if you can't get to the pack unless you take the carrier off? You can drop a backpack if you need it, but how do you get stuff out of a bag like this when its attached to your back?
the stuff in a plate bag like that isn't for you to use, its for your buddies to use, in a military, "combat zone" type scenario your battle buddies will need use of your kit just as much as their own and vise versa. most people use them as spare ammo carriers as well as large med bags, even then these are mostly only used in quick operations, kind of like how the air-force PJ's are set up, light compact carriers with mostly just essentials, ammo, ifak, radio, flares, etc. and the plate bag would be for a serous procedure if the helicopter is destroyed or has to wave off without the soldiers. long story short its not your kit, its your whole squads kit in a plate bag like that.
If you still have this pack, would you be willing to sell it? I don't like how the 2.0 hangs below the bottom of the platebag and comes with the 2 horizontal mag carriers.
$80 in 2014 and now $220 in 2020; man, they really raised their prices on this...
Right! I was just thinking the same...
Not only that, but there isn’t much to that 200+$
Nylon. 2 zippers, and some Velcro.
Where’s that 200$?

$250 now. Pure greed
@@DaveSmith-cp5kj I put it into the BLS' inflation calculator and it says $80 in 2014 is equal to $107.45 in 2024 🙁
you have a better rig than i do....and im in the military. shake my head.
okay what is your point.
@@Donnydarco100 In the military it actually has a use and yet they dont need it so his point is that he wasted money

THANK YOU! ....for saying this
RainmanHST anyone who runs bolt cutters or breaching tools is fuckin gay, there’s a consensus😂
@@BrainEatPenguin I've used breaching tools at a few events 🤷🏻♂️
because a lot of milsim events require breaching tools, such as bolt cutters
Tactical barbie, is 90% of airsoft. Looking cool, and having fun. Is the main priority when playing airsoft
You should rename this "Zipper Tutorial."

Is it comfortable to run the avs w/o the harness?

Looking to buy one, yet cannot find the original. Would you be willing to sell yours? If not any websites?
Can this hold a 68/4500 hpa tank and run a line out it?
VendettaSZN also wondering
Is there a reason you have chosen this panel over the other pouch panel from crye?I am willing to buy a panel and I have no ideea which one to get.
What size hydration reservoir can you fit in this pack?
1.5L/50oz
I was able to 3L bladder
Are the zippers metal or poly ykk?
They are polymer but they aren't YKK as Crye is berry amendment compliant so they use a US made zipper.
Hey do the zippers say Vislon 10v on the bottom of the sliders? Thanks!
Can you fit a radio in the back of it, either in the main containment pouch, or in the hydration pack
Does it fit a ferro Fcpc v5?

How $80 it's over $200 on cyre's site
It used to be $80 back when this video was created. They're insanely expensive now for some reason.
@@ExtraordinaireThe Thanks for the reply it's probably the demand for them then.
81 bucks? Try 220 bucks. They should cost 81 bucks but this is where Creye makes its money, accessories.
They used to be $81. But, Crye recently updated all of their back panels and started charging way more for them.
@@ExtraordinaireThe dang, i missed the party on that one lol
@@TheOneeyedclay Yep, you're a few years late, unfortunately.
Whoa whoa whoa guy...jumbos go on the yote.
No they look better on this
I beg to differ because I looked Sweg Jack
They look great on both, but to each their own
You do know there are the occasional ops that have a use for bolt cutters
That may be true. But, I guarantee 90% of the kids running bolt cutters aren't going to those ops.
***** but it is for the sweg, tacticoolness, operatortasticness, the OG as fuck, and the GMR of airsoft.
ArchangelFA18 GMR don't carry unnecessary gear, like BoltCutters
Jackson Cortez what do you call the grappling hook they carry around?
Jackson Cortez Nah they just carry around Benchmades and extra Coke
