This kind of video beats those ‘storm’, ‘snowed in’, ‘nearly died’ headline videos. Can’t stand the bullshit and the fishing. Yours are perfect Dave. I learn so much and really inspired by them. Really enjoyed this one mate 🏔️
Fantastic Vid once again - that is the reason why I go to the Lakes - the quiet, I love it - never get bored of the Lakes - Thanks for sharing another cracking Vid Dave - spot on as usual.
Hi Dave great video again I do like watching your videos there's a good balance of the journey to camp the camp itself and the journey back with a splash of red 🍷 in the mix👍🏻
Hi Dave, loved this one! The videos you give us are gentle and lyrical, to be entertaining and informative they dont have to be full of drama! You have such a down to earth style, while taking us to extraordinary places, and I just loved the shot of the nosey Herdwick giving you the eye! Thanks again, you are appreciated.
Nice one Dave, good little spot you found, with some great 360 views, cracking drone footage too, the allak really blends in amongst that terrain, could hardly see it from above 👌, I can’t wait to get back to the lakes give my new tent a go with some elevation , atb Mick 👍
Watched this twice now, really great to get a view of other routes and other parts of the lakes and again, presentation and video was top notch. Hoping to get upto the lakes myself in the next week or so and do some wild camping and getting some of that solitude you talk about Dave, shame i have to drive 7 hours to get it from the south coast but love the lakes so not a real hardship. Keep up the hardwork these videos take to get out to us all, it really is inspirational and gives us some welcome headspace watching. ATB
Thanks for posting this video. It’s you at your best. Chatty, informative and in complete control. The drone footage captured perfectly the wilderness you can find in the Lake District. Loved watching this Dave.
Another fab video. So peaceful and relaxing (once you got to the top 😂) Can't wait to get back to proper hiking . Fell and tore a ligament in my ankle in March, whilst hiking up darwen tower in the snow !! Love your passion for the mountains 😊
Ok Dave hope you are well. This looked chilled..Just been up in Grasmere for a few days myself. Only managed Heron Pike and Loughrigg but great to be up in the hills. Keep doing this for yourself mate..take it easy.👍
Hi dave, great intro. The landscape looks really dramatic this time of year. Thanks for sharing this with us. Keep up the good work and looking forward to the next.
Spectacular as ever Dave. What you give in your videos, you can't get on prescription. It's quite possible though that the combination of red wine and a Bounty would not be endorsed by alot of doctors! But, I say keep enjoying it. Take care matey! Simon, Somerset.
Great camp dave as usuall mate, I was just thinking that when you showing your sandwich, where’s his wine 😂, and knew it would be bounty, good water supply with all them tarns around you, thanks for for sharing pal,
Another great video Dave. I have a mini hot water bottle which is light and small in the rucksack but great for keeping the feet warm in the sleeping bag!
Hi Dave loved this camp, I really enjoy how much content you cram in , and its like being there with you and having a good chat, I'm going to do my 1st wild camp this year with my 12 year old son , and I'm getting a lot of ideas from your camps, thankyou for that and keep the good videos coming . stuart
Thanks for posting. So much work must go in to producing such high quality footage. Beautiful pitch, wonderful still night and the sound of the beck on the way back down. Wonderful.
A truly brilliant video, pure quality...Once again your drone footage and accompanying music was superb..great views from your camp and also how good was it to see the jets....many many thanks and best wishes
Great camp, and the scenery was filming lovely, can’t beat some peace and quiet ! Have you weighed the rucksack it’s looks heavy ? Love all your videos Keep em coming Cheers
Loved the vid Dave, I was up there last year in July never saw a sole, your right though it is quite a haul to get up, Keep the great videos coming 👍 Currently laid up after foot surgery so it’s nice to see the fells even if it’s on a screen 🙄
You never fail to inspire me in some way with every posting! Thank you! So good to see you back, sharing your trip and giving me new ideas of where to head up in my beloved Lakes!
Hey Dave, great to see you out and filming again 😊 I'm actually heading out in that area myself today, but finally have some time beforehand to catch up on some YT I just love the view of Helm Crag from the bottom there. I'm.the same as you, not long before a layer comes off due to the sweat, walking past people with down jackets on who stare in disbelief at me in a t shirt 😂 can't beat a bit of bog trotting 😂😂 we did loads of that on the Cumbria way 😂 some lovely oranges and browns on the ascent mate 😍 always good to see the jets coming over as well 😊 great views from that 👌👌👌 pitch. There's so much room in that Allak I really like the look of them 👍 at least you didn't sit on your sandwiches this time pal 😂 superb drone footage as usual too 😍 you can't beat those quiet camps where you are completely on your own 👌👌👌 fantastic camp and video as always mate, catch you soon, atb Paul 🙏 🏕🏕🏕😁
Great video Dave as usual. Only advice I would give is not to use the BBC weather app as it’s hopeless. I gave up on it and now use the met office one and I find it more accurate. Keep up the good work ❤
Lovely Dave, just lovely! Our last WW of the 214 was Tarn Crag (easedale) so this route brought back some delightful memories and we were watching it going "ohh we know this bit" and "ohh I recognise that bit" 😁 shame you didn't get the sun you were after but you did get one beautiful night amongst the stars again, good for the soul.
Linda and I had our 1st wild camp in nearly 30 yrs on Sergeant Man in 2021. Enjoyed it so much been doing it ever since and started a YT channel of my own. A way to go to get to your standard though! Another great one Dave.
Super video, Dave, great to see you back and treating us with another cracker, thank you. That's a lovely stretch of countryside up there and so quiet as it's sandwiched between the Helm Crag ridge and the busy Easedale Tarn walk. I remember those false summits though! A lovely area for pootling about and just exploring. And I remember coming off Tarn Crag years ago down to Easedale in head high bracken - I thought Dr Livingstone was about to appear any minute! There's something lovely and subtle about the colours of late winter. Did you hear me laughing when you said it was another easy one?! 🤣And I swear you're getting quicker at pitching the tent... 😉 And really... waving a milk chocolate Bounty about... 😆 the obvious question of course is was that Lindor milk or dark chocolate?! I fear the answer...
After making a few videos myself mainly timelapses of hikes and cycling it makes me realise how much work/effort you put into making one of these videos. Keep at it !... also i have been looking for a new stove and im stuck between a primus lite + and jetboil. Which version of the jetboil do you have and would you recommend it? cheers

Lovely vlog in a lovely part of the lakes I did Tarn Crag in the middle of the summer - I found it a tough little climb for a small one !
Beautiful!

I remember walking down there from high raise to tarn crag , fantastic views, an interesting place I remember, another great vid Dave.
The music you chose for the second drone footage perfectly matched the grandeur of the landscape - beautiful and majestic. Thanks for this video.
I'd a put money on the Bounty first Dave, you're a class act pal.😂⛺️🥾👍

Love the tent
Me too 😎⛺️👍

Great camp dave as usuall mate, I was just thinking that when you showing your sandwich, where’s his wine 😂, and knew it would be bounty, good water supply with all them tarns around you, thanks for for sharing pal,
Great scenery, the lakes are my favourite place to relax. The BBC weather app is not the best is it?

Majestic, silent, great work Dave. We really enjoyed this 👏👏👏👍👍
No word of a lie. Those cinematic sections are enough to bring a tear to my eye. Just imagine if those mountains could speak.
🙏🏻
Thanks for posting. So much work must go in to producing such high quality footage. Beautiful pitch, wonderful still night and the sound of the beck on the way back down. Wonderful.
Can't beat solitude! I get what you mean by being away from the "tourist" trails. Great video.

Tent colour blends in nicely at that time of year ⛺️👍
Great to have you and your videos back Dave.
I even play some of your music in my car
Loved the vid Dave, I was up there last year in July never saw a sole, your right though it is quite a haul to get up,

Brilliant Dave, your an inspiration for us all buddy, love you sharing stuff like this, thank you and take care👍
Great to see ya Dave, Another excellent viewing mate thanks
Which closed cell mat are you using in this video Dave? I’m after one. Simon
I use both the Thermarest XTherm and the XLite. XLite is probably good enough with the addition of the ZLite underneath 👍
You never fail to inspire me in some way with every posting! Thank you!

Now then Dave, started filming my adventures recently partially ( a lot) inspired by your content.
May I ask what mic you use please?
🙏🏻 Just the mic on the GoPro 7
Welcome back sir Another masterpiece
🙏🏻
No advice for the goat, how could there be.....apart from, your brews look poo!. You only have half a cup man, if you're having a brew then you have to have a full one 😂
Brew goes cold too quickly. Recently got an insulated cup. Full brews now 👍
I'm sorry Dave but it pains me everytime you make a brew, take the teabag out then add milk!!!
Sorry mate, I have to disagree. When camping leave the bag in. Soz haha
👍
