Thank you very much for this spotlight. The fact that the park is still being visited after a year and by Channel 5 Gaming is an absolute honor for me. Jonny, you did really good job and I'm not mad at you for jumping through the park. So many people have already gotten lost. I think that was the best way to get a quick overview of the park. You still missed a few rides ;-). But it's not bad, you've seen the best of them. Also a huge thank you to the great comments. I'm pleased to read that you also enjoyed the park. you are the best! Without the community, Planet Coaster wouldn't be as fun. PS: im in DC as "unranked"
How are you not a legend builder. I've watched this channel for years and your theme level and build quality is right there with mgk and the others. Insane.
Dang... K_Illuminat needs to be promoted ASAP! This piece of work is unlike anything (A N Y T H I N G) that has ever been done before! Screw that Cedar Point recreation (that one was also cool ngl.) This is the new king of ultra parks.
This whole sha-BANG is just mind boggling! The indoor log flume is my absolute favourite and is suited for the arrival of our dark season coming purple water and music included! It would be also great if you could pull this one out for a spotlight, just the log ride alone would make a remarkable video everyone here in the community must see!
My mind can not come close to this creativity. I just can't comprehend how to do this difficult of a build in a game that is difficult to build anything in! Wow wee!!
awesome feature, congrats on the new comp! It looks really amazing, and those specs on the new NVidia chips are nuts! Speaking of which, I just got a Mac Studio M2 Max, and it’s actually running some detailed parks like MKP Resort and “Journey to the Core”, in the “ultra” graphics preset! Nice to be able to enjoy some of these rides on the home comp 🎉
At 12:53, the camera "walks" the Go-Karts course, rather than driving a go-kart 'round the course as normally be done. Before the course walk, the camera seem to float down from the level above the ground to the part in front of the finish line, then starts the walking tour of the go-kart course for your viewers. In the maze part of the course, the camera light comes on to make that more visible, then turns off, after the maze section. It's fun to see how a game player could use an alternate method of showing a ride like this one. :)
Hi Johnny, first of all: i know the Creater very good and i also know his creation, the "dee or-dens-burg" [i love this comment ;)] very well. But, i will NOT write something like "you missed this, you missed that" or something. In my opinion, it was a very great spotlight and the best way to to it. As i sayed, i know the Ordensburg very good and... i get lost anyway. you are right; its a maze. But: a great maze. You wanted feedback about the 4k: great. when you can, you should do it. Theres 1 Thing, i want to say / give some "background info" about, cause i think its a great thing. Its abot the "Prison Tower" (Gefängnis Turm). This ist the Tower that stands very close to the Ordensburg and contains a lot of flatrides and some coasters. This whole Building is (of course) created by K_Illuminat. BUT: it was from a "micro park contest". This means; K Illuminat hat to make blueprints from his micro park, import these to the ordensburg ans stitch the blueprints togather and make the pathing. A hell of a lot of work. The micro park rules from the "Gefängnisturm" was, on a 13x13 ground (!), place 4 Flatrides, 2 coasters and 7 shops, 1 darkride. I think, this crazy rules explains the "weird" layout of the coasters. Just bye the way; K_Illuminat won the contest :) keep up the great work; greetings; "The Real Benutzername"
I like the idea of revisiting old parks. Tragic Kingdom is a favorite of mine. BUT, what I really enjoy is your voice and commentary. There are a lot of people doing planet coaster out there, however, I don't watch them. You have a pleasant friendly voice and the experience and insight that made me a fan of this program.
"Johnny 5 Revive" Watch one of the prior videos you made ahead of time, before recording it - possibly as a 'bonus' video in a week in addition to your usual schedule, but only if you're up to it. Do a brief overview of what you saw last time, and some of the thoughts and advice you had (possibly while just walking around the park). Then just do an enhanced version of the ride list, like you were thinking. But start at the queue, before including the ride. Then after you've gone through the ride-list, walk around the park a bit more, while talking about your final thoughts. Johnny 5 Revive's I'd like to see? - Cedar Point (and any other recreation parks) - "City of Omashu" Last Airbender map you had before (might be misremembering, but you were just learning about reshade at that point, so might have been focusing too much on getting it to work. - Any of the MKP parks - New Atlantis (though you already knew reshade here) - Super Mario Kingdom - That one park that was half under water. Didn't look too out of the ordinary, until you realized all the water was on top of glass (first noticed from the boat ride), and there was basically an entire other park under that water. I can't for the life of me remember the name of it, even after looking through a few of your lists... But I had commented that that creator needed enough real-world money to build a real life park, because of how well everything was done.
Planet coaster donr have full dx 11/12 support. With out it only one cpu core can do grapics call, and that is the main reason its so slow. This will of cause change to next game so preformance may increase a lot on heavy maps.
Action coaster contest wasn't that popular. Infact coaster contests have ramped down hard over the years. Many members of the current community don't exactly love making coasters, alot of people want to do parks or blueprints.
@@Channel5Gaming I am currently building a coaster called 'HyperRide' it has a few similarities with action coasters, and I call them 'story based experience coasters', or SBECs for short
You still missed rides jonny (coasters and the main dark ride 😅) .. K did a hell of a job here. But he will comment as well and give you all details. I know he will watch it
jees well my new pc arn't gonna be able to do this kinda of stuff & it's starting to lag now with around 12.5k pieces. This game engine tho, lets hope for a new Planet Coaster game with a better engine. Then we can really build out. This park omg i couldn't. Even with it being just the buildings would of taken so long. Top Tier this 1. So well done well made.
would likely be impossible to tell. Prolly crash my game trying to figure that out. I can tell you that it felt heavier than Candy Land. Might be the most dense park of all time.
@@Channel5Gaming wow craziness ,, him doing all of it solo in 2yrs is pretty crazy as well .... also i like how he said this was his 2nd and ''last'' park lol! he already knew
It'd be nice if the commentary were more about the actual creation you're going through and not random stuff. It sometimes feels like you're not even paying attention to what's on the screen. If these are supposed to be spotlights on the creation I feel like most of the commentary should be about the creation and lately it feels like 50% at best. The parks have been incredible though and they do look great on the new computer!
Too much.... A small fortune... 6500$ CDN + 600$ for the 4k 144hz monitor at a 50% sale... And that's a deal cause I was going to originally get the Starforge systems Voyager Creator Elite computer online. However that ran 7500$ with shipping. My PC is better as it has 2 extra harddrives, 3 more fans, better cable management, and more LED systems. For 1000$ cheaper too!
would love to see the old crew on the spotlight as well , doubt that will happen but at the very least hope johnny asks chant if she'll be on the spotlight with him!
As much as the building style in this is impressive, it seems a smaller park would have been enough to showcase it. Being all a big castle with a consistent style, all the rides I saw in this park ended up feeling a bit same-y, and that reduced their impact quite a lot for me. I can respect the patience and talent on display in this build, but I was just unable to watch the whole video. After 40 minutes or so, I just felt like I had seen what this build had to offer, even by only looking at half of it. Don't get me wrong, I'm impressed by the sheer size of this, but it kinda feels like this size ends up being a detriment too.
1:14:23 No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Do not use any kind of motion interpolation, it is utter dog sh**. Unless you're using Weta Digital (the company behind the Bullet Time effects in the Matrix) then there is no good that can come from consumer grade motion interpolation. The reason its called Optical Flow in Premier is because it makes video look like its being projected onto flowing water; tearing, smearing and warping. As a stylistic choice it can be quite interesting, to create shifting/melting dream like reality warping effects but for everything else it will be the quickest way to lose viewers.
I love you dude but you gotta spend less time explaining yourself and apologizing for some of the decisions you've made like not having guests or talking about re-features, or how you're going to go about exploring the park and spend more time actually talking about the ride you're on and what you like/dislike about it. That's the best way to tribute the artist (to actually be present in what you're seeing/experiencing). I feel like ever since you got the new computer you spend half the time explaining yourself. The community doesn't care as much as you think. They just wanna see the park and the rides so talk about it.

Unranked straight to pioneer surely!!!
An insane amount of content on this spotlight. It's quite overwhleming to consider walking around much. Mind boggling creation.
😂 its possible. A full walk through IF you know the park takes about 3h.
hahahaha this crazy man actually walked it! @@Batch1
i like that he did a whole little village outside of the park ,, really creating his own lil world in this one
Also excited for your new PC! Thanks for going through all the effort in figuring all the 4k stuff out.
