also cattail seed pods, fatwood, and Chaga fungus are very useful for fire making as well. not to mention that young shoots from cattails are edible, just pull em up, roast them in a fire and chew the starch out. Chaga fungus off of a living birch tree will make a very healthy and tasty coffee substitute that's loaded with antioxidants, cancer fighting compounds, as well as antiviral properties (it's hard as crap to find in some places, mostly growing on yellow birch trees where there is a constant water source or the soil is perpetually damp). Hi, ive been watching your survival videos for more than a year and no other even comes close on teaching about wild edibles and i really find your other videos on survival top notch. I only have 3 such favorites on youtube for survival and you are number 1, then there is survival lilly and her survival shelters are awesome, lastly sigma 3 survival school for their trap building. Thank you for continueing your videos as survival has been very important to me my entire life .
