Learning the basics of creating a key pair & encrypting messages with gpg4win is rather simple and straightforward. I wouldn't say that it's as complex as you have continuously stated. I only recently learned and I'm in my 60's. Learning how to use excel was far more difficult.

The original gpg used in terminal window is kinda confusing to me. The apps with graphical interfaces are easy to use though
