When drilling holes in lexan bodies, i fine it best to use a piece of 2x4. Gives u a good solid place to drill n saves your fingers from a very painful accident. After paintin the body, i would have put some shoo goo between the body pieces before screwing them back together. Itd still flex, but keep the body from catchin somethin n possibly pullin apart
I use shoo goo and cross stich fee fabric to repair bodies all the time. I did not use it here because I want a little flex in the body but if I ever get any cracking I will shoe goo and mesh this one at the cut.
Yes I do. To be honest though I haven't ran it much though sadly. Life has been a bit hectic but is slowing down so hopefully will get to run it some soon

Why not shoe goo and tape the 2 together? Seems like the bolts would stand out and not look factory

How do you hide the cut line if it doesn't happen to hit a natural body line?
Honestly if there is no natural line to use you will notice it. Best to plan ahead as much as possible and get it where it hides the best.
