Spatial. These speakers really seem crazy, would be great to see you also released a finished video maybe on your home theatre setup incorporating these!
Great review as always, I definitely like how you understand what the everyday consumer would want to know. Glad to see Sonos have listened to feedback and managed to improve on an already great product in the Sonos One.
I have a pair of ERA 300's before setting them up as surrounds, I dabled in the spatial audio whilst having them set up as a stereo pair and yeah, very very clear and crisp and hearing parts in songs I hadn't heard before..... as for having them as surrounds upgrading from 2 x One's, a pleasant noticeable difference. If anything, maybe a little too much base in them. I like that the centre driver is disabled, my attention is no longer drawn to the specific spot in the room where the speaker is located.
Would u recommend era 300s at ear level or 12 inches over ear level? I currently have them wall mounted about 12 inches above ear level due to couch against the wall. Should I leave them or move them down to ear level?
I have 2 Sub mini and 4 One SL, all in the same room. I need to add one speaker in my entrance, which is in the same room as the 2 Sub mini and 4 One SL. Do you recommend the ERA 100 or ERA 300? Thank you.
Hello, thanks for the reviews. just a question, if i am only going to get one Era 300 for my desktop, and have to place the Era 300 on the left of my display, would it affect the listening experience? e.g. stronger sound on the left ear. thanks.
Did you manage to try a stereo pair of Era 100 vs one single Era 300? If yes do you have any thoughts? Curious to know if two 100's is more worthwhile than one 300. "Spatial" :)
Not yet, but I'll share my thoughts in a future video as soon as I have! But for what it's worth, the Era 300 when set up right (and listening to lossless + spatial music) really does sound like multiple speakers in the room

Spatial! Thanks for the thorough analysis! Been torn between the Sonos 300 & 100, but after watching this video, I think I'll go with the Sonos 300. The sound quality differences and added features of the Sonos 300 definitely seem worth the extra investment. 👌
Love mine. Era 100 it's significantly better than the one. Better clarity and midrange. Music setup beam sub pair of era 100s one set in my living room the other one in my bedroom. Subtract off what you can sell the old ones for.

Hi, can I use the 300 as a computer speaker?
For regular non spatial music would you still recommend the 300? Or two 100s
Are these speakers for music only? Or can they be used for surround sound for TV etc?
Of course they can be used as rears in cinema setup, as well as previous generations (one 2, one sl).
