We are visiting Cabot this summer and will stay in a cabin. We certainly will be visiting the creamery between kayak and hiking excursions. We also will visit some nearby towns and Dog Mountain. Most of all we will enjoy the peaceful and beautiful scenery! We can't wait!
That's exciting! Vermont is beautiful all times of year, but I think summer is my personal favorite. There is nothing like it. Sigh. The Cabot Visitors Center in Cabot, VT is open for Cabot cheese sampling (SO MANY OPTIONS) and purchases, as well as an opportunity to check out a full array of artisan Vermont products. There's a video tour of the cheesemaking area, (actually MORE up close than the walking tour, which we no longer are able to offer!), as well as a look at the history of the co-op. Depending on where you're staying, the Cabot Farmers' Store in Waterbury is fun, too. Lake Champlain Chocolates is next door and Ben & Jerry's is down the street. Just saying. We are so grateful for your support of our farm family owners, our products, our employees, and all our Vermont friends.
