Brandon is married and has three children. Brandon was saved at nineteen after listening to a series of radio messages through the book of Revelation. Brandon was called into the ministry by the Lord, and he has been in full-time ministry since 2000. He has had various ministry positions such as Young Adult Pastor, Adult Pastor, and Minister of Education. He now serves as Rock Harbor’s Senior Pastor.
Brandon’s call to start Rock Harbor Church was birthed from the scriptures of Revelation 3:7-13 and Matthew 25:14-30. The LORD JESUS opened the door to start a new “remnant” church (Revelation 3:7-13). On August 28, 2011, Rock Harbor church was born as a “remnant” church in this age of apostasy and continues to proclaim of the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation, evangelize, disciple, discern the signs of the times, connect dots prophetically, and contend for the faith.
Brandon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Columbia University, New York, NY. He also holds both a Master of Arts in Religion degree, (Cum Laude), and a Master of Divinity, (Cum Laude) from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary, Lynchburg, VA. Brandon’s areas of emphases include: prophecy, discernment, apologetics, Jewish culture and background, and Biblical worldview polemics. You know what. I deleted my comments because I rewatched the video and realized that his message was bible centric. I was a little Hard on him because of the Big name on the back and I just reacted instead of really listening to his message fully. It was a good message so thank you for correcting me. I should have not judged according to “Appearances”🙏😌

I was born in California and lived there until 1993, then moved to idaho. I became a Christian in California and the state has many good people, just like pastor Holthaus. But satan is bent on taking that state and it’s children for his kingdom 🙏🏻.

We need to pray for those Christians, our brothers and sisters in Christ, who's faith may be wavering or who might be afraid to take a stand or might not understand how to connect the dots. We are Christians and we are to pray for one another and lift each other up and support one another. Lord, my prayer, is for them and ourselves to have courage during these times and I pray that we can all hear our calling. I pray that God's voice is heard through all the distractions, chaos, destruction, and anger in this world. I pray that we can find a way to stand up without pushing non-believers away from Christ. Let us not insult them, let us instead pray to find a way to speak Your Truth in a way they can hear and it touches their hearts, in order for them to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In Jesus' we pray, Amen.

I've been encouraging fellow believers to have a home study every time I read a comment with a complaint about their pastor not teaching prophecy or current events. OK so you didn't go to Bible College...no biggie! Just have people over and watch a video by Jack Hibbs or JD Farag or Dr Andy Woods (great theological teaching on Rev and the rapture and current events). Put on some coffee and snacks. Your living room will be packed, guaranteed. Discuss what you watch/hear and then close with prayer. Ta dah! You just had church!
Yes I love and watch those ministers!! Watch pastor Dave Jones from UK( Bethel church). He has entire teaching series on book of Revelation!! Because if those videos and Andy Woods teaching on entire revelation as well- it has allowed me to teach a bible study monthly on book of Revelation, I give out handouts and do current events, it's 2 years now, we finally on chapter 10. They LOVE it!! Never knew GOD WOULD use me to teach or understand book of Revelation. It's amazing!! Praise God!

I don't know myself to be particularly gifted with obvious Spritual gifts as prophesying or interpretation of tongues or dreams and alike, BUT, this past week there has been a dramatic change. I guess I was just reacting in haste due to past experiences I have had with the Way some people in Churches I have attended will smother the Pastor, not allowing anyone to ask a legitimate question concerning doctrine or anything without surrounding that person with a mob mentality, like how dare you question our Pastor. Some of these Pastors seem to revel in their Celebrity status because they look at questioning anything they teach is a “Challenge” to their intelligence, rather then that the person is simply trying to figure out what the Pastor sees in the Scriptures that you, are not seeing.
I guess when I saw his big name plastered on the wall behind him, it reminded me of the experience and I got angry and spoke in haste without really listening to the content of his video, so I appreciate your gentle rebuke, lol, and understanding. I so appreciate what you share. This is total truth. At the same time, I have an issue with either Brandon or his staff lifting him up as someone special. To have his last name in the background is an issue for me. I participated in the leadership at a conference where he spoke and again, I valued everything he shared. I was told he would be traveling with his team and a security detail of three people. His security person showed up before Brandon did wearing dark glasses inside, looking behind curtains and other questionable activity. Nothing about that seemed right to me. Please Brandon, take a step down and do not allow your team to treat you this way or request that they do. Please pass this to Pastor Holthaus. I have no problem talking with him or anyone from his church about this.

Funny thing is, while these fools are dressing as clowns in front of our nation’s kids, all they’re doing is further proving how ignorant it all is, kids laugh at clowns and they don’t take them serious. "Come out of her my people, least you share in her sins!" Perhaps less standing for morality at abortion clinics (trying to change a cursed culture) and more going out 2 by 2, sharing the gospel. If we did that, God would add to the church daily, those who were being saved. In doing that (which is the Biblical way), our churches would be full of believers, rather than 1/2 believers and 1/2 non believers (the unsaved being invited in, in hopes of getting them saved at Church, through the pastor). Guys, we are doing it wrong! I am sorry but Jesus never tried to save Rome, he saved souls for His kingdom. We need to stop trying to preserve Satan's kingdom and start building Jesus's.
Pastor Halthaus made a strange comment talking earlier in the preaching about people being afraid of losing their jobs,money etc and not having enough faith in Jesus. Yet he had too have a security team too go with him does he not have enough faith Jesus will protect him and his family? God provides food, so should we not purchase groceries? God provides shelter, so should we not buy a house? Yes, God provides protection, and perhaps is providing that security for Pastor H right now through people. God is sovereign and providential. All glory to God!
Everyone does the best they can. Hes not saying you have to do everything... He's saying if you see an opportunity that looks promising then take it. If you read Cory Tenboone's book you'll see the risks that they took, they tried to be sensible and God protected them when they were arrested. Dietrich bonhoffer took a bigger risk and died everyone decides what they think they can do. I pray that if God gives me an opportunity that I can fulfill it would be an honor to die for him.

I agree, Kate, but a young pastor at our church, where preaching is in English, apologized for shouting. He preaches a lot in Spanish and told us the local churches in El Salvador expect emotion and shouting.

Something to consider is you might be so used to having mediocrity in the church. Brandon is exactly how I would expect Paul to have sounded like as a true Watcher on the Wall, which is what YOU are called to do...no?
