This is CRAZY! I have virtually the EXACT same setup. Took me forever to find the monitor mount and the MST hub to get it exactly how I wanted. But, I did this 5 years ago! Wish I would've seen your video back then. Great minds think alike! I absolutely love this setup. It is so clean. I have a custom desk as well and it's virtually wireless with everything (including wireless charger and Raspberry PIs) mounted under the table. Great video!

The more I watch this, I am thinking of unhooking my set up and trying yours. How do I see if my monitors have the MST or is it my computer?
Why didn’t you just remove the Stan’s from the Bose cubes instead of flipping them upside down, they look cleaner that way 😊
We currently have 3 monitors that are set up to display as one screen (for gaming) - is there a quick and easy way to switch between the display as one to 3 separate displays for non-gaming work without having to go back into the setting each time?

How about adding a 2nd computer or laptop with docking and adding a kvm switch to switch computers with display port daisy chain.
Is the stand you use able to align all monitors - I would want to align all on the bottom edge, is there ample adjustment? Nice setup - I currently use 3 - 24", but my stand sucks...

Hi! Good video! I am wondering if MPRT (response time in MS) is impacted by daisy chain? Like if my gaming monitor is at the end of the chain, will i lost the reponse time ? From what i understand there is no impact on the monitor frequency, but what about reponse time ?

@@conniesky5361 can u help me connie? i also have an rtx 2070. It has two 1.2dp and i need 3. So im looking into these multi hubs. My questions is, does it divide the refresh rate of the monitors? will i lose my 144hz capabilities? also.. ive read these hubs will interfere with the use of 'nvidia surround' which i need to be functioning properly. any insight on that? please help, thank you

I have OptiPlex 7020. It has 2 Displayport + 1 VGA. I was told it can support 3 monitor.
But when I connect 1 of the Displayport monitor to the OptiPlex. It show blank screen.
How can I fix this problem? I have already check window 10 update. It say none. Do I have to go into bio to change anything?
This means you need monitors with dual DP ports. Would this work with monitors that have DP and HDMI ?

I connected my laptop with with 2 new monitors through hdmi cable and further output through hdmi splitter with hdmi cables in 2 monitors but the problem us it is not detecting 3rd monitor... any idea what i am doing wrong
Like when people give their phone number why do people go so fast in videos when they show the actual plugging in of a connector? I cannot see and verify in my mind the shape and name of the port /cable as it is all new to me.
this is all fine but my computer only has one hdmi i want to run two extra monitors for mutlitasking i ordered an mst hub with mini display port and 3 display port outlets i got an adapter to go from hdmi to mini display hooked it up but it dont work. kinda think i wasted my time and money bc it dont work or do u know a work around to solve this problem

I NEED HELP, PLEASE!! I made a video and I don’t have a clue what Daisy chain means!! I made a video showing how I’ve got it set up but do you have any better ideas? I’m not getting the best resolution. I sure appreciate any ideas or suggestions. P.S. I’m not an IT or IS person, just have three monitors that I like to work with.

What is this MST stuff?? I tried to call Dell for help and bless the guy I reached on the phone. He didn’t understand my southern accent and I didn’t understand his India language. He was reading from a script. I’ve got all this working but I know it’s not best. I set it up the best I could so don’t make fun of me.
this doesn't even actually dasiy chain all 3 monitors what a hoax and didn't really need the full explanation just show us what you are doing by doing and not explain 'how to' do nothing
Why not become way more productive, install 6 monitors and grow an extra pair of eyes...
