Tickle Me. The ONLY Elvis movie where original songs and recordings were not made. All the 9 songs were taken from previous LP releases: Kissin' Cousins, Fun In Acapulco (one "bonus song" each) and several from Elvis Is Back, Pot Luck and Something For Everybody, including this one.

Put The Blame On Me from Something For Everybody LP. 4 and 5 Dirty Dirty Feeling and It Feels So Right from Elvis Is Back LP. And 6 through 9 are all from Pot Luck LP: Easy Question, I'm Yours, Night Rider and I Feel That I Have Known You Forever, which had his lead vocal especially recorded for the movie. This movie was made to save a failing studio that did not have the money to pay for the song writing and recording session required. So they used previous recordings.

what made the charm of these old films was the grain of the image and its frame rate.... Improving the sharpness by increasing the fluidity gives something different, and current... Like if spectators discovered a new scene.... It's unfortunately disturbing for cinema purists, but terribly modern for smartphone viewing, my biggest audience.... 😏
