@@billytoffingham9608 That use of 'Scotch' is dated and was always a little controversial anyway. My up-to-date Oxford English Dictionary lists the term as 'whisky made in Scotland' and also as a (dated) adjective for 'Scottish'. 'Scot' is the word it lists as 'a person from Scotland'.
