But also don’t forget about ATM rates because everytime you even access your account, even if you’re only checking and not withdrawing, you’re also getting charged!! When they add up, if you’re not careful, they can easily cost you more than just exchanging in the first place.

Hack- you can take out money at any atm in a foreign country and avoid paying exchange rates.
