Hi there… Love your channel and I wanted to add some thing. I’ve been a flight attendant for over 30 years and although those very lightweight bags are OK for one trip, they will never be a long-term investment. There are so many wires and sharp things underneath the seat that can catch and tear that fabric. If I had a dollar for every time I saw someone crying and needing a bag to put all their items in, because of a tear, I would have enough money to buy one of those expensive fancy bags
And that very beautiful light nude color is perfect for shopping on a layover, but it’s going to get really dirty very easily.
Thanks for sharing your insight and experience! Although I agree with your thoughts, I think it’s always dependent on the travelers priorities and needs. For me as a petite person, a bag that is lightweight and comfortable for me to carry around is MUCH of a higher priority for me than a bag that’s more durable and less susceptible to getting dirty :) there’s something for everyone, and I use mine all the time! I’ve taken the duffle on multiple trips - road trips, flights, long and short. It suits my needs very well! However, it’s definitely not for everyone because everyone’s preferences are different. That’s why I highlight what I like and dislike about each bag based on my personal experience. For durability, I’d suggest the July duffle over the Calpak! 💗 Thanks for watching!
I’ve used the cream Luka duffel bag on multiple trips and it’s actually well lined and pretty sturdy. The material also wipes clean beautifully even though it’s a light color. I could see it wearing out over the years, but it’s worked really well for me so far.
Hi! New FA here. I’m still trying out personal bags and haven’t found one I love as of yet. I recently ordered the Travelpro flight crew tote for work. I’ll see how this works although I prefer a backpack to spear my one shoulder. What personal bags do you recommend or brands? Work and personal if you can. TIA.

Hi. I was wondering if you would consider doing a packing video of the Calpak Luka Duffel? Even if it’s an example of what you would pack. So we can have idea of what fits. I have the Beis weekender not the mini and it’s too heavy. I’ve been eyeing the Luka duffel. Something that fits a lot and is light weight

Aww really appreciate your kind words! Yes! The first bag does typically fit under the front seat of an airplane, but it does depend on how much I stuff it lol 😂😂 I'd say the second duffle fits a bit better. Hope this helps!

Is the medium clear cosmetic case TSA compliant for a carry-on suitcase?
I’m not sure, but I think it would say on their website (link in description)! I’ve taken it in my carry on, and never had any issues though :)
Did you have any issues taking the medium CALPAK toiletry bag through TSA? I’m thinking of getting it but very scared to take it thru TSA with my carry on.
Good question! I don’t think you’d have any issues as long as the total volume of your liquid products don’t exceed their threshold. You’d have to check what that is with your airline!
Can the calpak cosmetic case work for TSA when carrying on?
I personally never had an issue with it, but I’d double check with your airline!

I’m not sure if they have different sizes, but check their website! Size you got would honestly just depend on your preference and what you’re going to be using it for!

I think that first duffel could be used as a pillow if you're seated against a window. Easier to sleep!
I never tried that, but worth a shot! :) It might be a tad too big to lean on against the window
