    I just recently purchased the ozmo 950. I'm very impressed with its work and features. It's been doing such a great job that i haven't brought out the dyson since. One selling point was the battery life. I can put it on max+ when needed and still do the whole house in one go. Awesome vac.
    Thanks for the video.

      Yes it is an awesome vac, but the documentation it comes with is just pitiful. It also has a tendency to lose/corrupt maps too, which is annoying. The build quality is very good, but the software could be better. Guess I would rate it 7~8 stars out of 10.

    ok, helpful for when one is contemplating, purchase, but I have had my 950 sitting in box for six months, partly due to personal difficulties, but also dreading the setting up of the programming prob. Commenced to do it yesterday, not being all that great with electronic techs, came unstuck at first hurdle of downloading app. (which is best, pc or phone?) Any videos out there on You Tube that can take a dummy through it all>

    I have been trying to get my Osmo 950 to connect to the ecovacs app on my iphone 6 . It says in the beginning it has connected to the phone, but after it goes through the setting it up, at the last 95% or thereabouts, it says, "cannot connect, error message 406.10025.:" YET 4TIMES,( one I had to pick it up and place down,) the other three times it has taken off, vacuumed the house in three hours until battery went flat, and it returned to base. The last couple of times it has been sitting under the router, I have had reams of standard directions to get it going, but I cannot do any mapping because of the 'not connected problem". It vacuums satisfactorily, I have not used the shampoo facility as of yet. It does at times seem a bit confused, going around in circles, but I put this down to not having been able to have a floor map set. If it is working, then it must be connected to network, surely, why then is it not connecting into phone.?? I have spend days and days on trying to find the answer.I do not do facebook, but if anyone has an answer, it would be appreciated. I have had a chap look at network, he is well experienced, and there is nothing wrong with the network, all other devices in home work without any problems.???????

    Ozmo 950 vs Vase - ruclips.net/video/BSdozyMpCv0/видео.html
    Roborock S6 vs Vase - ruclips.net/video/g7ku5EY4cO4/видео.html
    The 950 behaves like a blind robot relying too much on its bumper whereas roborock emphasises more on data from its laser and infrared scanners (front & side).

    Roborock S6 avoids box - ruclips.net/video/yzw0kadBoH8/видео.html
    I have also documented additional technical flaws. I have been in touch with ecovacs support regarding theses issues (actually the reason I made these videos in the first place). Their only solution was to re-scan my apartment which did not resolves anything. Very disappointing since I really wanted it to work due to the advanced carpet detection system.

      I am still testing the robot out, from what I can tell yes the robot may bump into an object harder if it a black object or reflective object since it relying on it Infrared sensor to detect the object. It similar to what the Roomba sometimes do

      Yes I see now, the Roborock relies more on the navigation from the Lidar as the Ozmo uses its physical bump sensor. I did do a test with glass object and black objects and the Roborock ran into them, if the object was a different color the robot would maneuver around without touching them.

      Well it depends on what model of deebot it is. If it the Ozmo 920 and you have a larger home than I would recommend the S6 since it has better battery life. Keep in mind the S6 has a gravity feed mopping system where the Deebot has an electronic mopping system. As for the App integration and navigation the Roborock is better. I’d never heard of Ozmo before and this is the first bot I’ve seen that can vacuum and wet-mop in the same run. So much quicker and more cost effective than an i7/s9 plus m6 double act or having to manually vacuum/sweep before setting off a mopping robot. This might be perfect for me. Is there any competition in terms of other Robots that can vacuum up dust and wet-mop at the same time?

There are a lot of good hybrid robots that can vacuum and mop, Viomi V2 Pro, Roborock series like the S5 Max, S6 and S5, a lot cheaper robots have this capability too at less than $200. The 960 despite having the Navigation camera uses the old App so no multi map saving and less Map features. I know Deebot mention providing an update for the 960. I think the 960 isn’t suppose to be an upgrade over the 950 more of a robot that can avoid cables and shoes and offer the Mopping and Vacuuming. • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  4 года назад

      So the 900 iAdapt series is quicker when doing a whole house cleaning over the iAdaot 3.0 i7 and s9. The reason behind this is the 900 spends less time going around the edges. There is a option called edge clean which the robot will seek out the edges. The iAdapt 3.0 system will change its cleaning patterns based on the shape of the floor plan to improve efficiency.

      I don’t but, It will help for the initial coverage, because it takes some time for the water pump to wet the entire dry pad and for the water to soak the pad. Takes about a minute or so. I usually run the robot twice so it gives ample time to wet the pad and to cover all the areas since I don’t pre wet the pads

      No this isn’t designed for wet spills, water could enter the robot from the extractor bar inlet. If you are looking for a robot to Mop wet spills the Scooba or w400 your best option. They both have a separate Fresh and Dirty Water tank. The Ozmo mopping designed for light stains and mopping jobs.

      @@RobotMasters my Trilobite 2.0 is now totally dissasemmbed, and i just need to wash all plastics and clean the motors and electronics, and replace the faulty bumper switch. Hopefully then it will works. Trilobite has massive metal brushroll, and the brushroll motor is the same motor like from 18v drill. So i think, it is really powerfull, and with that combination of bldc PAPST 90w motor, it must clean everything. Just the microfilters electrolux says needs to be replaced after every cleaning the bin. Like bags in CleanBase. But i think if i always clean it with compressed air, it would be okay. Just my Trilobite is missing the pre-motor filter and the special styfoam to reduce sound. Soon i will buy more filters and that pre-motor filter. Best thing is i got that Trilobite for about just 25$. Which is really great value. Well, that problem the seller don't sayd it does not work, and he was just saying, it needs new battery i now okay. Seller give back 20$. So i got used, with missing parts,dirty, and broken Trilobite for just 5$. That is why I'm collecting used and old robotic vacuums. :D

      And pls don't get rid of Deebot d77. You can have it on shelf like the oldest robot vacuum in your collection. Well, and it looks cool. Plus you can use it's dock's vacuum to clean other robots. :D
      And if you can, buy some really cheap robot vacuums, like the PureClean, which looks simillar to my Sencor Nain, and has the same bin, and let it clean somewhere on the road, and record the people's reaction. So if you had to go with S6/S5 max or Ozmo 950, which one would you go with?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  4 года назад +2

      I think it depends on your floor plan type. Both Robots the Roborock series and the Ozmo can save 3 floor plans. Only the Ozmo and S5 Max have electronically controlled water flow. The water tank on the S5 Max is larger so you can mop a larger area. The Ozmo has a higher CFM at 24 and offers a suction only module attachment. The Roborock is one of the Best navigating robots so if your environment really complex the Roborock might be a little better. I can honestly say both are not bad choices. If it was me I would go with the Roborock S5 Max because you can get one for $439 vs $700 for the Ozmo. If you are interested in saving $70 on the Roborock S5 Max email me at nate2003@comcast.net.

      I bought S5 max, its seem more gently, don't hit anything hard as I saw ozmo does, and mopping seems to work better even just in the center of the vacuum. But yes I wish higher power as ozmo 950 has. S5 max seems to doesn't pick up little stones of sand in just first run. I will tested more, I tried just once. And I love the robrock app, settings of rooms is just perfect, dividing rooms as you need is do good and usefull. I just hope for multilevel floor update
