Thank you for a really gr8 video - very interesting and captivating! I couldn't take my eyes off of any segments; well done! I can see, if one is a major Celtic fan and well-enough off financially, that paying such a price for that kind of experience may prove worth it every once in a while. I'm easy to please- just give me decent seats and a fair view of the game/match, and I'm happy. The comraderie with the fans in the general stands offer its own unique atmosphere in itself, which is also a lot of fun. Sam, great video, and a great promotion of what fans can expect at Celtic Park if they get the hospitality package. The price may seem high, but I guess that’s all relative to your income, experience, and expectations. Here in the USA, it’s difficult to even walk in the door at most sporting events (NFL, NBA, NHL primarily) for £98. I was fortunate enough to visit Celtic Park for a game several years ago, and I was pleasantly surprised how affordable everything was, even for a European night. If I ever get back to Glasgow, I’ll definitely be booking one of the hospitality packages!
Hi Sam, Fantastic video, I myself used to work at Celtic Park and in the Kerrydale Suite, we always tried to set high/good standards there and it was a good place to work.
Loved the video mate, could not recommend enough going up a floor to the no7 club(the one you were pointing at when you first went to the seats). it is by far one of the best experiences in British football(Value for money). Ive met many a legend up there from Danny McGrain to Berty Auld. the 4 courses of food are phenomenal. its free bar and food. you even get these steak pies at half time if your stomach isnt already full🤣Simon Donnelly and Tom Boyd normally do pre match half time and full time entertainment with the MotM coming up to say a few words after the game. Definitely give it a go when you next get a try, you wont be disappointed!🍀

There is the Sports bar but space is limited and often the place is full before I get there from NE Scotland on a supporters bus. You were a few rows in front of me. I missed Kyogo's goal thanks to the big guy who stood up as the pass was made to him. The fee for hospitality is high considering that food and drink has to be paid for on top. Great review Sam ! Unfortunately when you are a captive audience expect to pay far above the normal. When I was your age back in the sixties, the most you could buy was a pie and "or" a Bovril. Sadly the pies at Parkhead in those days were under cooked and not far from raw. The best pies in Scotland were at Fir Park, Motherwell. Where they baked them till they were crisp and brown. At least you got a wonder goal from Haxa. To take the edge of the price.
I went with my son to Dundee United hospitality in the Celtic end. The package was 180 pounds each. We got program and 3 course meal and 5 free pints. Also a pie at half time. The game ended in a draw which basically guaranteed Celtic the title with way superior goal difference. Bit expensive probably overall but not season ticket holder so best way of getting away tickets. Really enjoyed the day. Love your videos..
I was in the cheap(£35) seats in the upper tier above you for this game. Celtic were not at their best but at least they got the win. I have done the hospitality in the North Stand before and it was much the same as you experienced. It was decent enough but maybe worth paying a bit more for hospitality that includes a free bar and a pre-game meal.

In the 2003/04 season he played centre-mid the whole season and won POTY also scored his most goals in a season that season, that season it was in a 4-4-2 though.
Also Larsson was pretty much given a free role and would come deep to get involved in the build-up so of the 3 Hartson was the only real out-and-out striker.
£98.... for a match ticket, free programme, hot drink, a pie and sandwich at half time!!! anyone who pays that is off their head, total rip off and that's before thr food on sale!
Cheers for this vid Sam! Great as always. Thinking of taking my dad over for one of these hospitality games, he's 72 so hiking the stairs of the regular stands isn't as much an option anymore, but this seems fantastic. Would dream of doing one of these vs. Rangers but I'd imagine tickets are like gold dust 😂 Cheers again Sam! 💚🍀
They have lifts in these hospitality areas. Also if you ever buy tickets for the section 121 near the front, you could ask at the big gate thing outside if your dad can enter there and just walk to his seat without going up stairs and down stairs to get in. They let disabled people in there and its also used for blind and wheelchair access to the front of the North stand so they probably wouldn't have a problem.
@Celtic Barry This is brilliant mate, thanks very much! Mistakingly booked 2 for us to go watch us vs. Hibs back in October and it was in section 409, which had a lift to access, but the row was right up top and the walking distance for him was a lot. This is great though, thanks very much pal. HH 🍀
I was there 3 times & what surprised me was lack of choice on the food menu, one list of starter, main course & pudding? but, if they didn`t suit you, the chefs would come to an arrangement with you & cook something that suited you! I never had a problem with the food on offer but I did think it was a bit odd, & the bar was free (Yippee)
Well done to Celtic on winning the League, good recruitment with manager from Australia and Japanese players Unfortunately the Scottish league isn’t competitive Rangers did well last season in Uefa Europa league Scottish football is shit and not competitive Has no money Edit update 12:12 this is why V A r is good
Quite easy for them since they’re the only club who gets any financial backing from the SFA while the other clubs have to rely on their fans and owners for financial support
Apart from the chicken and handful of chips, it looks like a pretty good deal. Everyone watching probably realises it won't be the same as a typical matchday experience. Interesting look behind the scenes.
Jesus! that was expensive!! Guess it has changed since I was last in there. You had have to pay for your food prematch but it wasn't so expensive. The bevvie was on a par with Glasgow pubs. At half-time you had as many pies/sausage rolls/bridies as you could eat at no cost. It was an afternoon match that I was at but not sure if it'd make a difference.
1:30 you just know that he was about to segue into talking about the Billy McNeill banner (on the other side of the stadium) then turned round and realised it was Callum McGregor on the banner 😂😂
Don’t bother with the food in the Kerrydale suite, pretty poor. Also make sure you get to the half time food promptly as it runs out really quickly. I missed out on the complementary pie 😂 The staff are so friendly there however
Great video👍, I'm a season ticket holder who believes our catering is poor with extremely high prices. I did the hospitality a few years ago and my experience wasn't great for a variety of reasons, it's seems to have gone a up a notch or so from what I witnessed in your report. I'm not impressed with £98.00 for a free pie, coffee and padded seating, and £8.50 for your snack is ridiculous. It would appear to be busy, so in essence it's what fans are happy to pay for is the conclusion I take from the report.

Celtic Park is a disgrace. Look at agent for example and their hospitality lounge then compare it to Celtic’s and it’s just a manly old hall with some tables. Celtic Park seriously needs a lot of work, especially to the changing rooms as well!
Watching this makes me realise how far my club has come with our investment. Any hospitality that leads you to paying eight quid for what looked like McDonald's chicken and chips is pretty bad. More expensive than City these days is slightly ridiculous but like many of these "history" clubs they like to fleece fans and use their delusions of grandeur to do it. Credit to the staff they seemed to do a great job and the people seemed very friendly 👍💙
Hospitality at hearts get a welcome drink and all drink and 2 course meal with the ticket and a pie and more drink at half time 2 bottles of wine at the table as well.. I thought celtic would have had all.that and more or os there different packages?
Went hospitality in December vs Livingston. Not worth the 90 pounds as food was extra. I expected better quality food. But a great experience all the same. Edit Did not realise there was food and drinks at half time!!!!!
Not only the only Scottish team to win the European cup, but the the FIRST team from Great Britain to win the European Cup. Scotland could have won the World Cup if they just capped the team from Celtic. I don't know the official reason why so few Celtic legends were included in the national squad but they would have had an amazing (potentially) world beating team. HH☘
Sam ,were you served that portion or did you put it on yourself, like in a buffet? If they gave ye that then thats shocking and i hope folk at the Celtic Park catering see this and do something about it. Thats a disgrace, come on!!??
Shocking prices for very basic unappetising food, surely they could do better than that, I remember the pies at the old Celtic park they were tasty but they sold out quick.
I think the price for the hospitality is very good but £8.50 is a bit steep but you would pay more for the same at McDonald’s or Burger King me I would rather have waited till halftime and scarfed a couple of free pies and a bovril anyway keep up the great work brother hail hail
It’s expensive but tell me a football ground that won’t be , some proper restaurants would charge you dearer for that😂😂, foods amazing that’s the benefit you won’t be let down with what you buy but it’s on the dearer side like everywhere else especially this day in age.

Well done to Celtic on winning the League, good recruitment with manager from Australia and Japanese players
Unfortunately the Scottish league isn’t competitive
Rangers did well last season in Uefa Europa league
Scottish football is shit and not competitive
Has no money
Edit update
12:12 this is why V A r is good
@@johnmcmillan497 I’m frustrated sometimes with Scottish football
I’m sure you’ll agree
When I went in the hospitality section I found that the attmosphere round there isn't as good and it has alot more sort of tourist fans
The locals could not afford those prices.
£8.50 for that is fkn shocking. Better off getting a chicken nugget supper from the chippy fs and am a Celtic fan as well 🍀
Another great video. Keep them coming!!!
Thanks! Will do!
Don’t bother with the food in the Kerrydale suite, pretty poor.
Also make sure you get to the half time food promptly as it runs out really quickly. I missed out on the complementary pie 😂
The staff are so friendly there however
How do you fit Larsson Sutton and Hartson in a team? Larsson has a free role, Sutton fits in and Hartson runs as fast as his legs can carry him.
What hair gel do you use?
Hospitality isn’t for me but nice to see a Scottish video sandwiched between Italy & Northern Ireland!
Why a game! Imagine the difference it would make to these clubs if the supporters turned out like this every weekend, they were phenomenal.
I think it would be good to try one of the lower leagues teams maybe second division
£8.50 is scandalous for that, so call bowl of food. Ticket prices not just for hospitality, but general football is far too expensive.
What did you think of them singing ‘ooh ah up the ‘ra’? Seems to be very popular with their fans.
And no fine from the SFA anaw , glass houses wi that mob man
@@albev75
Says the Salty Bun Sevco fans that throw broken glass bottles onto the pitch during a derby match.
When has VARangers ever had a fine from the SFA......?
CHAMPIONS AGAIN YA BUN!
🇮🇪🤣🇮🇪🤣🇮🇪🤣🇮🇪
"Upto your knees in fenian blood" seems to be very popular with VARangers fans, players and manager.
You never have had a fine from SFA for that.
@@MetalGearTenno Queen davina, away ya spoon burner 💉.
As a so called fenian albeit half there's elements to both sets of fans that go to far both on n off the field .
Have a good night m8
£98 is expensive for what you're getting, basically paying the extra money for a pie and coffee. That chicken and chips was a rip off as well
Hospitality at hearts get a welcome drink and all drink and 2 course meal with the ticket and a pie and more drink at half time 2 bottles of wine at the table as well.. I thought celtic would have had all.that and more or os there different packages?
Thanks for coming 💚
Any chance of doing Queen of the South or Albion Rovers hospitality?
No chance lol this guy is Celtic through and through now.
i believe Partick Thistle is an enjoyable xperience
Is their anyway we can suggest clubs/games to go too besides the RUclips comments? I have one in mind 😊
Great video well done 👏
Glad you enjoyed the experience at the home of the champions! :)
Yeah his weekly trip to shithole park as he’s a Celtic fan even tho he claims not to be
@@QueenLizzy1926 i remember your mum.
@@shirtfanatic5519 really? So you went to prison?
oneil got larsson hartson and sutton in with a 3-4-1-2
We want the best players so all these offers and charges helps provide the profits the club need to do this so if you can afford it why not. 👍🏻🍀
Never done hospitality, I just go in the stands and the atmosphere pays for itself
Way too much for a couple of coffees and a cold pie!
What’s the dress code for there ? Are trainers allowed ?
If you want decent hospitality and value for money go to your local teams that play in the WOSFl .
Sutton played CB and Midfield quite a lot after Hartson joined.
Sam I’ve been to the kerrydale suite
Being in the stadium for that game - it was as good as it gets.
Went hospitality in December vs Livingston. Not worth the 90 pounds as food was extra. I expected better quality food. But a great experience all the same. Edit Did not realise there was food and drinks at half time!!!!!
Scottish football got a lot going for it... Good to see.
No it hasn't. The Glasgow wank twins have too much power.
Can't think what
Like what? Nothings changed it’s still the same 2 teams every year😂😂😂
😂😂 it’s an absolute laughing stock 😂😂 pub league standard
Forest Green Rovers would be interesting.
And a better standard than Scottish football
Be cool to do other teams hospitality, looks like Hibs have update there’s and I think hearts have some good scran too
Flippin heck, that chicken and chips was absolutely dire
The food/drink kiosks I believe is leased, and you should have just waited till halftime, my man. Nice to see though.
HH☘
The reason is Scotland squauds used to be picked by a SFA committee of sorts meaning in built sectarianism
Not just the first Scottish or British team, but the first team outside of Italy, Spain or Portugal to win the European Cup
Good vid Sam, but £8.50 for crap food mate, no chance..
I think the price for the hospitality is very good but £8.50 is a bit steep but you would pay more for the same at McDonald’s or Burger King me I would rather have waited till halftime and scarfed a couple of free pies and a bovril anyway keep up the great work brother hail hail
Agree on both fronts
It’s expensive but tell me a football ground that won’t be , some proper restaurants would charge you dearer for that😂😂, foods amazing that’s the benefit you won’t be let down with what you buy but it’s on the dearer side like everywhere else especially this day in age.
To me, well worth it. You'd spend twice that for the same deal at a top level sporting event here in the US. 🤷♂️
We’ve got it good!
Really hopiing you come on a us trip at some point and check out clubs here like the 1st mls club columbus crew
That price is a disgrace. As you said Celtic are raking it in.
Bit Sutton was midfielder then Sam
Maybe do clubs further down the leagues where hospo is actually worth it
