@@KillerKingTy23 I own copies of the following comics: Thanos's Quest (when and how Thanos gets the gems in the comics), Infinity Gauntlet (basically the comics version of Endgame), as well as Infinity War and Infinity Crusade (aftermath story arcs for Infinity Gauntlet). Thanos is properly terrifying in the comics and so very much more powerful than in the MCU (as well as much more creative in his use of the gems). The first time I saw Robert Downey Jr. show up to Comicon wearing the Infinity Gauntlet, I lost my mind. But then I was so disappointed with MCU Thanos (the character, not Josh Brolin's performance). It warms my heart to find other people who seem to prefer the comics' version....it gives me hope for the future.

Thanos hardly put in any effort in Infinity War, he had mercy on everyone. He had nothing to lose by killing Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America. and when they kill him after snapping their fingers, he doesn't fight, he lets himself be killed. But in Endgame everything changes completely, he knows that they could have killed him and almost finished what he did, so he fought to kill. and the funny thing is that they didn't let him use the gauntlet in almost the entire movie. In Infinity War Thanos had the gauntlet 95% of the time and he used it as decoration, in Endgame 0.5%

The reason why thanos didn’t want to use the gauntlet in the craziest way possible is because that would increase temptation.
He says when he’s in the farm. They served no other purpose other than temptation. He only used them in the most bland way he could so he’d never be tempted by their power.
