I've rewatched Non Non Biyori for the third time today and it is my favourite anime!! This peaceful countryside of Japan makes me feel very calm as my parents are born in the downtown side of Tokyo. I would love to visit this location in real life sometime! Thanks for sharing!
This school will always remain in my mind as Asahigaoka Branch School. Whenever I watch the anime (I don't remember how many times I have re-watched it), I feel like going back to school, but this time to Asahigaoka Branch School 🙂🙂

Adore this show..Kaede is my best girl..but also love Komari.....And I have been lucky enough recently to have visited (from the UK) the real life school and candy store used for the basis of those in the show!..I walked from the station to the school....Unfortuantely I wasn't able to enter the school itself..Disappointing as I had come all the way from the UK..I did help the caretaker pick up leaves near the pool area...And had a donut and tea in the cafe..though I had asked for 2 donuts (and believe I payed for 2)..I only got one...I have also visited locations for "Bocchi The Rock", "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid" and "Super CUB"....It was sureal!..Infact it is a month today since I visited...Dec 2nd...I did put a nice donation in the wooden block thing at the door to the school...Wish I could do more as it appears it is struggling financially.

@@IROHA_Travel Yeah..I didn't make a fuss about the donut..didn't say anything......Just being at the school was sureal..Wish I could of seen a little more of it. The corridor door was open slighty....and I could hear the music from the show being played from within..and it brought a tear to my eye..The music for the show is sublime...In another world If I was ever able to travel Japan for a long period of time...I would love to go see the locations used for the village where they live...I know it's not a truly real village...but alot of the places used for the show are real..Like the watermill Renge draws and shows Honoka?...But that's just a dream..I would also visit locations for "Yuru Camp" and "K-On!"...Loved Japan..I traveled down to Kagoshima..and back via Kumamoto, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Osaka back to Tokyo.
