I want the green golden horse so bad . Just wondering why they didn’t number the 1957 peices individually? Hard to believe there is only 1957 of them !?
The black dial golden horse wears fantastically well on a grey perlon strap. The bracelet though nice is way too shiny for my liking but this strap really tones it down while still keeps it elegant. On a separate note 19mm log size is really inconvenient. They should have gone with 20mm. Otherwise the watch is fantastic and I highly recommend it.
I'm torn between the green and the red. Red is my favorite color. But the green is super unique. If only they didn't fade to black on the sides though. Then it would be really bright. I know it makes it more classic looking to have the fade to black though. The green definitely has more novelty because of the contrast with the red calendar day, and red logo. The red dial doesn't have that unique contrast going on, it just has the personal color preference. so im thinking ten years from now, which will i be liking more the red, or will the novelty retro look of the green still be in force.

Note the back of the Captain Cook case back isn't stainless steel it's Titanium. It helps to keep the watch very light to wear on a thin wrist.
