Just seen this. I'm very happy to see Pete's been on the cream cakes & pies, and keeping them down... Fills my heart with joy! I don't like hardly any bands since prob 2000. The Libertines are one of them. I've smashed their albums over and over. Back then, I was in Kentucky and proud to show their music off. Didn't mind getting stuck in traffic while blasting them out ha.
Some of these comments are crazy! Can nobody see how amazing it is the fact there was a live gig from a band that so many people love in a world pandemic year of 2020! ESPECIALLY after (and continuing still) we’ve been starved of live gigs for so long! The music and events industry is struggling so much right now so See a good thing when it’s there and stop diminishing it with childish comments! Go on ye boys ye! This was an amazing gig amongst the darkness! 🙌

This is called "After the Magic Has Gone". Sadly. It doesn't have THAT energy of a 2004 Libertines crowd. And it never will. Remember when that weirdo was filming/stalking them? (bit like the kid in Almost Famous is many ways) There was a palpopal energy that is missing from Libertines gigs. I don't think they'll ever be able to get that back. Oasis on the other hand, if Noel is playing guitar/backup vocals and Liam's voice (which is as good as ever lately he's FINALLY started and finally UNDERSTANDTS HOW to look after it) people will go back to The mid (MAD) 90's and go fucking MENTAL with the same kinda energy as back then for sure.
