    Yesterday I made a blue one with cubes from Fusion beads. I took it apart, it was so awful - there wasn't a consistent sized cube in the bunch, ranging from 3.2mm to 3.7mm but sold as 4mm. Today I made one with beads from Darice (from Michaels or Hobby Lobby). Sold as Topaz (#1999-5097) but they're more greenish/topaz. GORGEOUS!! Used gold 11PF557 seed beads and white pearls. It was so pretty I made a ring using one set of the same pattern, with all gold beads as the herringbone band. I think I'll make some dangle earrings, too, again using just one set from the pattern. Thank you Gina for the inspiration!

      +uMary Cheney Yes, it's amazing how these cubes vary in size and quality. I am glad you found some that worked well. I thought a ring with one station would work great, I was going. To try it, but forgot. I am glad to know it works! Thanks for the note. Enjoy your new jewels!

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  6 лет назад

      Yes, Swarovski cubes should work great. Just keep in mind that the cubes run a little different in size, according to brand and type of cube, so you may have to adjust the length of your bracelet to accommodate a difference.

      It’s easiest to find baby bell flowers on Etsy, Amazon, and eBay. You may be able to find them at Firemountaingem.com also. I used to buy them from York beads but they are gone now. Do a search, they come right up.

    Hi Gina. Beautiful bracelet! I’ve been loving your designs! I was wondering, because those crystals, and crystals in general seem to be sharp, how would the durability be as far as the crystals cutting the thread?

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  6 лет назад +1

      +Joselyn Sphar there is always a chance they can cut the thread. But, if you use Fireline or Nanofil, heavier test weight, like 8 or 10lb, and sew through several times, it is usually pretty durable.

      +sahar zakir I am sorry, but I truly do not think that anything other than a cube will work well with this particular design.
