    Just installed this cooler on my 5900x, my temps max out around 68-70 degrees on MWII at 1440p Ultra averaging 155fps when paired with a 3080. Idle runs at 39-42 degrees. It is a bit loud like you said and I have a PE120ARGB on the back burner in case I get annoyed by it but the lighting is beautiful especially when paired with that temperature sensor, it really gives it a customized look. Some fan speed tweaking in Bios should definitely alleviate some of the noise though!

      @@jimbopcbuilds just did! I set it to 30-70 degrees running at a constant 50% speed till it hits 75 degrees in which it’ll go straight to 100% speed so throttling doesn’t occur and it sounds nice and quiet now! Even while stress testing the cpu on modern warfare ii 2022 my temps are nice and cool at 65 degrees. I also enabled pbo and curve optimizer and am now getting around 190fps at 1440p Ultra settings! The fans have yet to reach 70 degrees!

      Kind of agree. If you’re putting it on say a 5600 it will be good. You’ll just be limited by upgrade wise.

      I would avoid using it with 5959x. I’d go for either the deep cool ak620 or the thermalright peerless assassin. Or go for an AIO.

    I ordered one from aliexpress days ago. Thanks for the review.
    It seems to have a great aesthetic and to be a decent cooler. It's expensive... but being expensive is paid for by aesthetics... it's a pity that the sensor is not read directly from the CPU, but from the base of the cooler. Even knowing the cons I still decided to order.

      @@M2habibi You may be ok if you stay at stock. I think the CPU will run a bit hot but I don't think it will thermal throttle. Make sure you get a good even application of thermal paste.

    So basically, it's twice as loud as a good liquid cooler? 38db VS 21db (like higher end liquid coolers).

    • @jimbopcbuilds
      @jimbopcbuilds  Год назад

      I've only tested one liquid cooler so far and sound wise it wasn't twixe the sound but there was a decent gap. Idle 37.1 vs 34.9 and Max 51.5 vs 41.4. Keep in mind that's an AIO with 3 fans and pump noise.

      Good question. I've not tried but from what I can tell not easily as the mounting is shaped to fit with the cooler design. It would be interesting to see if the fans are holding it back.

      @@jimbopcbuilds Hello, I was looking for videos of components because I am putting together my first PC and the quality of the information you give and the comparisons seems to me to be something of a size for much larger channels. I almost fell into a marketing move for an "offer" of the Alseye refrigerator. and you clarified my doubts vs those of more refrigerators thanks, the assembly of my pc is with an asus tuf b550 plus II wifi - 3060ti - ram hp rgb 16gb (8x2) 3600mhz cl14 1.45v - ryzen 5 5600x - asus rog strix thor 850w I would like to know if my assembly is fine or there is something that could not be compatible or you think that it is not a good thing and I could change it, I already bought all the components I only need the cooler for the ryzen and the ram memory I wanted to know currently for the range of cooler price between 40 and 60 dollars which do you recommend more I know that for other prices there are better but it is what my budget has and I have those two doubts I appreciate if you help me 1 doubt is if the ram hp rgb 3600mhz 14cl 1.45v is compatible with my plate and if it is good ram with that low latency or do you recommend any other and the other question would be which cooler do you recommend more so that you do not raise many degrees my ryzen in games I saw that your top for a low price is this ID-COOLING SE-226-XT Do you still think that it is the best value for money or do you recommend another? I say again I really appreciate your answer since it is my first pc and I do not want to buy components that are not good thanks for your informative content!
