Just installed this cooler on my 5900x, my temps max out around 68-70 degrees on MWII at 1440p Ultra averaging 155fps when paired with a 3080. Idle runs at 39-42 degrees. It is a bit loud like you said and I have a PE120ARGB on the back burner in case I get annoyed by it but the lighting is beautiful especially when paired with that temperature sensor, it really gives it a customized look. Some fan speed tweaking in Bios should definitely alleviate some of the noise though!
@@jimbopcbuilds just did! I set it to 30-70 degrees running at a constant 50% speed till it hits 75 degrees in which it’ll go straight to 100% speed so throttling doesn’t occur and it sounds nice and quiet now! Even while stress testing the cpu on modern warfare ii 2022 my temps are nice and cool at 65 degrees. I also enabled pbo and curve optimizer and am now getting around 190fps at 1440p Ultra settings! The fans have yet to reach 70 degrees!
I ordered one from aliexpress days ago. Thanks for the review. It seems to have a great aesthetic and to be a decent cooler. It's expensive... but being expensive is paid for by aesthetics... it's a pity that the sensor is not read directly from the CPU, but from the base of the cooler. Even knowing the cons I still decided to order.
@@M2habibi You may be ok if you stay at stock. I think the CPU will run a bit hot but I don't think it will thermal throttle. Make sure you get a good even application of thermal paste.
I've only tested one liquid cooler so far and sound wise it wasn't twixe the sound but there was a decent gap. Idle 37.1 vs 34.9 and Max 51.5 vs 41.4. Keep in mind that's an AIO with 3 fans and pump noise.
Good question. I've not tried but from what I can tell not easily as the mounting is shaped to fit with the cooler design. It would be interesting to see if the fans are holding it back.
@@jimbopcbuilds Hello, I was looking for videos of components because I am putting together my first PC and the quality of the information you give and the comparisons seems to me to be something of a size for much larger channels. You’ll have to let me know how changing the Dan curve changes things

@@jimbopcbuilds not yet! I’ll report back when I get a chance to!
@@M2habibi ok 👍
Like the vids, can you test PCCooler G6? It's a pretty cheap dual tower cooler
Thanks for the suggestion. I've ordered one from Amazon.
@@jimbopcbuilds can't wait to watch the review, thanks 👍
Thanks for the data. Being cool is better than bling and loud. Too bad though cause I liked the cooler, looks nice but I think thats it for it.
Kind of agree. If you’re putting it on say a 5600 it will be good. You’ll just be limited by upgrade wise.
@Jimbo PC Builds Yeah I was thinking for my Ryzen 5950x.
I would avoid using it with 5959x. I’d go for either the deep cool ak620 or the thermalright peerless assassin. Or go for an AIO.
@@jimbopcbuilds thank you

As long as you're throwing it at an i9 I think you should be ok and agreed it does look really good.
@@jimbopcbuilds I use a 12600kf...
i think is sure with that cooler.

@@jimbopcbuilds what do you think about this on a 5900X? I have a Thermalright PA120SE but this one is so sleek and beautiful

So basically, it's twice as loud as a good liquid cooler? 38db VS 21db (like higher end liquid coolers).

thanks for the very detailed and professional video......greetings from chile
Thank you and I hope all is well in Chile?
Thanks so much 👍
You're very welcome. I'm glad it was helpful
I like the cpu temperature read out just worried it wouldn't cool I 7.
It cools m i7 but just about. If you're only going to play games with your PC, you should be ok.
can the fan be change?
