Partypack (the service used to get custom charts) is down due to ban scares from Epic. A message will pop up in your Fortnite if it detects a proxy being used to get custom songs. Still confusing that this song is not in the game, Through the fire and flames is probably the most iconic song in rythm games
festival is aimed to people who dont play rhythm games so adding a song thats not meant for beginners is kinda a bad move
they're probably waiting until guitar controller support comes out.

Why didn’t you chart synth death? I mean I know its not accurate to do so but festival has made lead play all kinds of instruments. Also its just fun to play
@@ShadowL8er Used the rock band 3 chart as a template to try make it as close to as Festival would of done.
But in saying that Born This Way did get a rechart from RB3 so it's not impossible that they could chart some of the key parts now.
A lot of the RB3 era stuff didn't have keys on lead.
I guess this would be the best we can do for charting this since we can’t strum
i really hope this gamemode brings more people to guitar hero. i know a lot of kids who play this game wasnt even born when GH was around, so theres an entire new audience for the genre. GH has a smaller community nowadays and less people are playing but the community is great and the game is a bunch of fun. festival looks way easier (?) but im assuming its catered towards people who didnt play guitar hero all their lives like me, and younger audiences. tho i didnt try it yet, who am i to judge. ggs
yeah so far it's a lot easier than GH
yeah, i am one of those people i grew up with THPS but not GH i didn’t really get on GH until oct 2023, and i see why people were so interested in the game back then it looks enticing as hell playing real cool songs with a guitar in a game. GH has actually helped advanced my liking of the Guitar and Rock Music. So, I’m genuinely glad i was able to find out about it.
Yeah I loved playing guitar hero as a little kid it was fun and I was able to play for hours
Man, I so wish I could have lived through the golden age of Guitar Hero, but unfortunately I never had the opportunity to own a console and a guitar to play, and today adulthood has unfortunately arrived for me, just sad :(
My wife prefers Guitar hero but I prefer Fortnite Festival. She likes Guitar Hero because the guitar makes her feel like a rockstar, I like FF because the input device is much cleaner, easier to use, and higher quality.

Bro if you submit a higher score than the replaced song with a limit score you get banned?
Nope, the scores are based off of the original map that the modded one is writing over, meaning that the actual score being submitted to the leaderboards is usually very low because you're not hitting in the places the notes would usually show up, meaning you can't go over the note cap and you won't have any scores higher than the original song. Everything about partypacker is solely client side and will not affect the servers
Why is it using a keyboard when it clearly shows us that they used a guitar at the actual concert for the song?
The way the game can tell if a song uses a guitar or a synth is built into the chart file. At the time charters didn't know how to do this in Festival. We've also figured out how to actually animate the drums as well through the chart files and will continue to experiment once partypack comes back.

@@4sxr Very well aware of that, but the amount of force he's using is literally making a thumping sound off of his desk. If you're not using a headset then I can see how your viewing didn't have those lower bass sounds. Regardless, I don't even want to hear the keyboard. Mute your mic or get one that doesn't pick up every single key click. It becomes torture trying to listen to it for 6+ minutes.
