If you go to your settings, and look under 'Game' there should be a whole section dedicated to just Festival, and in there that's where you'll find the setting, I believe it's called 'Use Pro colors.'
Well the best advice I could give anyone, is really to just keep practicing! Because I used to be the exact same way, but over the past few months and with the more and more I've played, I've thankfully no longer had to worry about my hands bothering me nearly as much as they used to! 🤷

Completely natural, I play on a regular Ps5 Controller and I use the default thumb keybinds for Festival.

I’m on controller too but I can’t manage to hit so many notes at once because my arm and hand will like, overheat
