This video on Auburn's beginnings is an insightful, emotional, and amazing journey into the past of this historic town. For me, I felt as if I were really there. The struggles of the man portrayed here were MY struggles, and his hopes and dreams became mine. Kudos to M&M Adventures for their portrayal of one man's account of life as it was in Auburn California.
I love the fact that millions in specimen nuggets were stolen from City hall. Not that long ago. I grew up in El Do Co. I spent a lot of time with the ol timers learning a lot. The Nobel homestead is right across from the Chevron in Lotus. Great people, you are missed Burt. Picked up a 4 gram nug on the American in the early 90s. Still have it. Didn't get the pan wet that day. Miss you Rodney you spent your life in the State Park.
