Man I miss your show. I will watch all of them. Hope someone finds older shows that you did not like to air.

While in the Boy Scouts we made a trip to Bodie from our camp site, this was in the late 50's and was not a state park then. There was a "Watchman" who wore a pistol and drove a Model A Ford (with Watchman) painted on the door around to make sure you were not doing wrong. You could go into almost all the buildings, the jail was particular of interest to me, I have a photo of me inside holding the bars on the window. A lot more old cars were present than in later trips there however.

What a fascinating and historic place.
This is a history buff’s paradise.
    It’s so well preserved.
I can’t get over all the items left behind.
    A true life after people.
Gotta visit here once in my life.

Arlene reminds me of my Mama Walker when I was growing up. In my neighborhood, she kept all us kids captivated with her words. I went back to visit her in my 20’s and realized she was about 5’1”. She was pretty old by then but still had authority in my eyes.
